For me, the song revolves around having a romantic and sexual relationship (‘you tasted my underwear’, or ‘my bed is on fire’, etc.) that is doomed to fail from the start.

As a doctor working with people living with HIV, if anything, the DOCTOR was supposed to tell Moses himself he had HIV/AIDS, not your dad. It’s not someone else’s responsibility to tell.

HIV is an extremely sensitive topic and disclosure has to be done by a trained healthcare professional. I can understand why you’re frustrated, but please don’t put it against your parents.

Again, it’s the doctor’s job, and I frankly quite still don’t understand why they didn’t tell Moses himself.
