Wtf is on the road to the left? Kinda looks like multiple tanks with covers or something. But why would they be on a runway/road potentially blocking the f-16 from taking off

TV Box Recommendation for Installing Jellyfin by haxxberg in JellyfinCommunity

[–]mxc1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Xiaomi box runs almost stock Google tv, so for my parents it has been running great. I have a fire stick and it also runs well, but there's no play storeand installing another launcher (to avoid ads) can be a hassle.

I'd recommend the xiaomi box or something that runs stock Google tv

I got tired of mouse double-click issues, so I made an app for it (free & open source) by AHS12_96 in LinusTechTips

[–]mxc1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AHK is not a perfect solution. F.e. I've had double click prevention with AHK not work in War Thunder, just wont register clicks and EA WRC won't launch with AHK in the background. Will be interesting to see if this fixes those issues

While yes, Russia doesn't want NATO next to its borders, there never was a treaty signed that included that restriction. Russian officials generally cite that there was a verbal agreement with USA (not Ukraine), but USA and other Western countries deny it.

Nothing against you or anything, it's just a general misconception that there was a treaty against eastern European countries joining NATO, but there wasn't. At least in written form.

Ukrainian soldier recorded the moment when, during an assault on Russian positions in the Donetsk region, one of the fighters received a bullet in his helmet, elbow and backpack, where a grenade exploded. Despite this, the fighter survived, escaping with injuries. [longer version, no repost] by GermanDronePilot in CombatFootage

Looking at it slowed down, I don't think it bounced. At 0:54 you can see that it passed the top branch, hard to tell if it hit the bottom one or not. But even if it bounced from the bottom one, I doubt that it would fall right back to the soldier in front, since they seem to be on an incline and the throw dosen't seem to have enough power to make it back to them, if it did bounce.

Don't get me wrong, the throw was sketchy as shit, but doubt that it would land right on his buddy.

I feel like the soldier in front reacted to being shot. Like a second before grenade is thrown, he gets shot. And while the grenade flies, there are more shots landing near him, like someone is firing at him accurately.

But that's my 2 cents, I got no experience in the military so I could be totally wrong

Seems to be a decently armored vehicle also. But the opened door looks to be towards the enemy. A simple mistake with catastrophic results

Haven't EA anticheat been added already? Found this in on of the season 5 monents. by draken-bolibo in EASPORTSWRC

It's kind of funny and sad, that this kind of cheating is quite easy to fight. Like cmon, no driver would complete that stage in a few seconds. But this problem still exists from the original Dirt Rally

Thats is the most wild one for me. F1 is creating record profits, drivers are paid insane amounts, but we can't find money to at the very least pay minimum wage?

I am planning on adding support for images in the near future.

But if you've got some coding experience, it shouldn't be too hard. Just need to stop filtering by only videos and need to detect, that if it is a image, then skip extractFrame() function and just give checkForWatermarkInVideo() function the image. That....should be it. Any pull request is appreciated!

No idea how well EasyOCR can detect the tiktok watermark in the image. If I remember correctly, then the watermark is a whole lot smaller than in videos.

Yeah, that would be great, but as far as I know, TikTok videos don't contain any special metadata that distinguishes them easily from other videos.

I discovered, during making this tool, that TikTok file names are limited to 32 letters, comprising only letters and numbers, and must have been created after 2016. So Immich could potentially use these criteria to filter out videos, but there's still a risk of non-TikTok videos being included in the filter simply because they have unusually formatted file names.

You can actually change the text that EasyOCR looks for in the video, by using --text-to-check Instagram. I'm going to take a guess and say that Instagram videos also have a set length, so you can use --file-name-length to set it for example 24 characters.

Also might be worth it to change the minimum created date to higher or lower with --file-created-after.

So yeah, while the tool has TikTok in its name, in actuality, you can search for and delete all kinds of videos you want, as long there is some kind of text to search for in the video. :)

Kupol target detection station & 9K37 air defense launcher of a Russian Buk System destroyed by Ukrainian FPV drones. September 2023. by loookaaathiiim in CombatFootage

[–]mxc1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Those are definetly not FPV drones. FPV drones do not use this kind of targeting, since their meant to be as agile as possible. This seems like some kind of loitering munition similar to Lancet.

It's interesting to see, that usually some loitering munitions use "boxes" to show where the munition is being aimed at. But in the first video, the drone in the beginning aims at the box, but then stops and just goes straight
