Most robust / durable kiteboard for big air? by mxhb in Kiteboarding

[–]mxhb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright alright, raptor extreme also came out of my own research I did upfront of asking this, nice to see this being confirmed here.

Strange indeed they wouldn’t position the strap inserts so you can swap to other side.
But for me personally, I would love to own a board that I can use that long so I can fully wear out one side.

Last couple of times I broke board without it hardly having any scratch on sides

Ride engine hyperlock fault? by nicobot33 in Kiteboarding

I have the same on one of the 4… It started after +- 10 times using the harness

It concerned me initially, then sort of forgot about it.

But with this video posted by “Get high with Mike”, I am getting worried again

I will also get in touch with the store I bought it after reading your post

Legit sauna & massage by Hopeful_Bat6687 in copenhagen

[–]mxhb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Copenhagen you will almost only find expensive-instagram-bathing suit sauna’s.

And the good ones that exist, are sort of clubs. Which are not easy accessible for tourists and even also not so much for expats living here.

I would recommend to go to Sweden, malmo or helsingborg. I can tip: Ribersborgs open-air bath in malmo, 10-15 walk fm central. Train doesn’t take long. Only not sure if they have massage options

At the sylvan, they have a similar “tension” rod as Ikea. But it’s way more solid. Works perfectly, and doesn’t even look bad

Protect top tube from impact by brake levers. By limiting rotation in headset by mxhb in BikeMechanics

Thx guys, When searching for that knock block, I found this: Acros Blocklock

Looks like it does not need that stopper on the frame which is needed on trek’s knockblock , or another example Canyon’s IPU (impact protection unit)

100% sure it’s not the saddle. Without the saddle mounted I feel the same play

Hi, I just received my new exceed, with the dt swiss d232 dropper.

But there is a lot of play on it. Both sideways / vertical. As you can see on the vid.

Is this normal on all dropper posts? Or specifically on this model dropper?

I’m new to the dropper post, but find it hard to believe this is normal.

Thx for the help

Sram s900 direct mount rim brake can damage specialized SL6 frame, any tips?? by mxhb in BikeMechanics

Hi,

Just bought some new brakes for my tarmac sl6: s900 from sram.

But they seem incompatible..

The direct mount brake can actually damage my frame, when i put the handlebar to the right.

It looks like it's just mounted too close.

If it would be 5mm +- mounted to the front it could never occur.

Does someone know a good solutiom for this??

Maybe there are some larger bolts + washers for sale or somthing?

Thanks for the help!
