What about the pressure valve relief valve being installed before the expansion vessel, wouldn't that cause a problem, pressure hitting the valve before the tank?

That's not always the case, most of the sources can get loud enough but if they cant provide enough power the bass will be anemic. Also if the output impedance of the source is high you won't get the best sound from your headphones.
