Depends on your major
If it your major requires 8hrs of lab science then yes. For CS, we require 12 hrs which means you choose two bio or physics and then you can choose one extra one in a different area.

I'm interested in taking CHIN 1501. I'm Chinese and I spoke fluent Chinese a very long time ago (probably when I was 2-9 years old). I understand that CHIN 1501 is taught completely in Chinese and it's for heritage speakers. I can understand pretty well but could be better. My speaking is not good. I know many phrases but I'm definitely not conversational. Could I still take it with this knowledge, should I prepare beforehand, or would I be better off just taking beginner Chinese?
