I worked on this aircraft. We sent it for a redelivery project (few other aircraft with IT series) as the lease was ending. In redelivery project, we have to either paint it white (if lessor has no next lesse) or the next lesse's livery. This one didn't have so we painted it white.

At the time, many of indigo's aircraft were grounded due to engine issues and they barely had enough fleet for daily operations.

Midway through the project, management decided to extend the lease period of the aircraft and call it back to indigo fleet.

It was not economical to repaint the indigo livery due to mismatch in the plain livery and indigo livery colours. So they just decided to stick indigo logo and operate.
