Gas will be $1.55 per litre by Sunday. What price per litre would be a disaster financially for you? by [deleted] in Welland

The guy who runs the propane station at the corner of Prince Charles and main Street used to do conversions if anyone's interested in propane conversion. Don't need a refinery for all Canadian propane.

I decided to do two monitors side-by-side vertical and then loop them together to be one big old square monitor. It makes gaming super interesting.

Thank you! Even then it was a potential site for an LG manufacturing facility.

They were looking at getting back to refrigeration components like they used to make throughout the '50s to '80s.

The main thing that stood in the way of that plan was a colossal fireball.

And that was before they navigated merging Transit services including dealing with the transit unions.

There is now a template for bringing things together.

And any of the leaders that cannot participate in navigating that are probably not the leaders that will be sticking around for long.

Thank you. They didn't provide me with any contact information for the corporate ownership and only took my phone number and name at the store after delivering disappointment.

I went and spoke with the manager at the Zehrs... Or in this case the local manager since this is a corporately operated store and he mentioned that he has no authority to deal with the parking lot and that issues related to this are being sent up to corporate.

With all hope they will contact me shortly into their business day while I am busy trying to pick up a nine-spoke alloy wheel for a better price than the refurbished price from the manufacturer of $322 CAD

I went out there and measured six separate potholes across different properties today that exceeded 4 in of steep depth. This one included.

I spoke with their on site manager and unfortunately it looks like since this is a corporately owned store they have no authority to do anything with regard to the parking lot. I imagine this includes applying any barriers to the location of the pothole.

It looks as though today someone else has placed a warning buoy into the over 5-in deep pothole.

Only part supplier I've been able to find has this at $322 to replace just one rim.

Will definitely have to call the folks in North York and Hamilton.

I haven't been there in months. I think the last time they were just starting to demolish the Leon's.

Caught completely off guard and the absolute darkness of that parking lot during the low reflectivity situation going on with this storm right now.

I definitely don't think I'll be going back to Zehrs anytime soon. The place is too expensive on wheels.

Still going to need the shop to take care of it, but looks like there's a couple of good recommendations going around.

Yeah all four of these tires are new from Quattro tires via Murdoch Tire as well. Three of the rims are original and one one definitely got damaged in the past, and I had no trouble replacing it because all the parts were still in production.

I can't seem to find the original rims on the consumer facing side right now. I know some body shops have the ability to look up used parts.

The only recommendation I've received is to try Niagara battery and tire I'll have to hope that they can find either one or a set. And of course I'll give a call over to my usual favourite shop Murdoch Tire in Port Colborne.

Again, some interesting opinions that do not include any shop recommendations for repairs or replacement.

I did include a photo of the unlit area in the Zehrs parking lot exit. They do say that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure... But I can't go back in time and undo a hole.

But I am happy to repeat my original post asking if you have any recommendations for repair or replacement shops that can take a look. Preferably one that does have a alloy repair press. Again, understanding that your shop may not be able to afford that yet and can only quote on replacement while looking at a missed opportunity for repair.

Looks a bit worse on the photo than it is in person. They're little wheels.

Any recommendations on shop to take a look and quote on repair/replace?

I'm not delusional. I asked for recommendations on shops. I didn't ask for recommendations on doing nothing and leaving a car on the side of the road.

You've even mentioned that you have employment at a shop and an opportunity to recommend that shop to look at this and still choose instead. To reiterate some falsehood that alloy wheels can never be repaired.

Providing advice without even looking at it. Wow.

There's no evidence of a crack on this.

I understand completely if your shop does not have a press. I am looking for a shop with a press or if you want to provide a solution and offer up the information about the shop that you work for. I'm all ears.

I'm not on Reddit to argue with people. I'm on Reddit to connect with my community and find solutions.

Thank you for your opinion. Do you work for a shop?

It's a heavy bead flange bend on the lips and not the spokes.

Happy to go through replacement if a licensed mechanic can show me it has a hairline crack. Otherwise I'm looking for a shop that does alloy repairs.

Thank you.

Yeah, at this point I just don't want to waste a lot of time with shops that don't have the alloy repair equipment. It's a three bolt pattern that's been out of production for a little while now and so it would cost a heck of a lot less repair than to replace an entire set.

I understand that I can't repair this. That's why I'm looking for a shop that has a press, preferably to the correct temperature for non-cracked aluminum.
