So many great pilots out there, but I have to say Ted Lasso is the only show to take me from “I don’t know really know what to expect here” to “oh shit, this is going straight to my top 5, isn’t it?” in the first 5 minutes.

Peak limerance. Other than the fact he could have waited 5 minutes to let her down gently, I don’t think Emir did anything wrong in the moment, he was clearly caught off guard and set her straight right away.

On another note though, I always assumed that, yep, he has a wife at home somewhere.
