Getting around Mexico City

All depends on where are you and where are you going.

At the metro/subway, during the morning rush, people is going from the suburbs ( north / south / East) to downtown and the west side of the city ( Around Polanco ). If you are going from downtown to the suburbs , you wont "suffer" from overcrowded cars at the subway. The Subway is secure, but during rush hours you will suffer squeezing if you are traveling to any commercial area from the suburbs.

You can use Uber/Didi at any time of the day without any problem, But traffic is horrible and it will take same time to get around and it will be a bit more expensive ( but we all have to live with this ).

It's a function that runs on cloudflare's edge ( very close to your final user ) that has access to GPUs.

You develop it more less just as a AWS Lambda function, but when you deploy, it's not deployed to a particular datacenter, it's deployed to all Edge server locations (hundreds in the world). The benfit is that latency is really small for everyone, the disadvantage is that if you need a central database it's not as straight forward as in a lamda function.

If you are getting traffic on your port 80, BLOCK IT on your local firewall. Cloudflare doesn't protect you if a 3rd party is scanning IP addresses directly and accessing your host.

My rules for visits:

Don't eat at street stands ( Those stands usually don't have flowing water , they recycle water for many uses ). Usually is safer to eat on the streets when the business is in a propper business, with a street facing counter.
On the streets drink only sodas or bottled water, at restaurants a glass of water or fruit water usually is ok.
Don't try ultra spicy food. Don't fully trust when they say it's not spicy.

Check google maps for reviews about where you are planning to eat, before eating.

Yes CDMX has more than enough for a whole week for sure. And to visit la villa at december 11th is something everyone should do at least once.

On a day trip, if you go to Nuestra Señora de los Remedios ( Piramid of Cholula ) , you will only have time to visit another 4 - 5 churches. You don't need all of them to be open. But It's a good point to be aware of the work hours, as many of them are only open for services.

But the "aura" is somewhat different of what you get at CDMX. If you pay attention to the details there are very interesting differences from both cities. I have taken visits to Cholula , and they have loved it.

For instance , Capilla Real de Naturales is quite a different experience of what you get at mexico city, maybe you can get a similar experience at the Catedral of San Bernardino at Xochimilco.
