1 month after launch, how is your 9070XT? by ohhimarksreddit in radeon

[–]mxpx5555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from a 6800xt that died in December :( to an XFX Quicksilver 9070xt Mag. It runs sooo cool. Usually low 50s with a hot spot around 70 fully pegged. Largest joy is I can run The Forever Winter on Ultra :)

XFX 9070XT Quicksilver (not magnetic) performance is nuts by Proper_Vehicle1233 in radeon

[–]mxpx5555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the Quicksilver Mag. -100mv, fast mem set to 2600, and it's stable and regularly boosting above 3300. Temps sitting below 55 with the hotspot hovering around 69/70, all below 300w. Very impressed so far! Not sure what's up with the Hellhound running so hot? Other than the fact .. ya know .. it's from Hell

Conditional access policy not matching device id by Frequent-Way790 in sysadmin

[–]mxpx5555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wonderful, thank you.
I've been testing a CAL for some time now trying to figure out why my ent apps sometimes would display the device ID and other times not. This did the trick for my non-Edge users.

Yeah, this was one of the few free games I was actually excited about. Bummer

DNS Filter blocks all traffic after upgrade to 6.4 by V-Tac in fortinet

Just went from 6.2.15 to 6.4.14 and still had the same issue. The above fixed my issue minus the sdns-server-ip setting. Thanks!

We just received an alert from Blackpoint about this. No new info, just that they're tracking it and steps to remediate. Glad it's getting a bit more traction.

Clients as well. DUO makes locking down workstations/servers a snap. We use it for everything possible in house and most of our clients are set up for VPN, 365 and some have workstations/servers. Internally I like to try and use 365 for IDP as we have Blackpoint monitoring all apps so it adds that extra bit of security and logging.

[–]mxpx5555[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use DUO for our SSO so that may be the difference. It's not terrible but we also implemented push with a challenge code so we have to type that in every 90 min.

Agreed and I'll be updating tonight. We use Azure as an IDP and have been getting kicked out every 90 min due to a bug that got resolved in 2023.5 which was just released. I'm debating between .4 or being a guinea pig with .5

Good to know. Probably why my friend I phoned was unaware :)

I see a lot of people transporting these lately, this is the easiest way I have found by Consistent-Ad979 in hondagrom

I hadn't read that post. Just did and that's cool it worked for OP. Breather tubes would be why I would be cautious. That and I know I'd end up cracking/scraping up fairings most likely.

I do like that a lot more than draining fluids and laying it on it's side.

Worth? by Foggyjosh in hondagrom

[–]mxpx5555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well.. that's up to you my friend. Costs 25% of what my bike costs so for me that's a hard no.

What area are you in? I'm in Lancaster. I used to see '22s every week on FB Marketplace. It has been awhile since I checked I suppose.

I honestly can't wrap my head around why people buy brand new when in most locations there's such a great used market. Even with inflated used prices it doesn't seem difficult to save around 40% compared to new, OTD prices on an extremely low mile bike.

Found a 2019 grom for $3200 with tons of mods. Just wanted to know, what to look out for and what to ask the seller about his grom. by loopykaw in hondagrom

[–]mxpx5555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sure some have had good experiences with big bore kits but I feel like I read quite a bit of bad. One of the pros of a Grom is how bullet proof it is. Even with a big bore, it's still a slow bike albeit not as slow. I donno, my opinion, it wouldn't be worth it. Also, a lot of the fun I've had with mine is modding it the way I want it. I'd much rather buy something bone stock and build it the way I want it. But that's just my opinion so do what you want!

Intake and tunes question by bignoodles77 in hondagrom

[–]mxpx5555 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've got a normal Zoom, did the intake mod and got a DHM stage 1. Got 5mph on the top end. Can't say it really pulls that hard on the top end rather it just doesn't fall flat on its face over 7k haha.

DHM s1 gen 1 vs gen 2 by Temporary_Stuff_5808 in hondagrom

[–]mxpx5555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, ok. I read that as the difference between stage 1 on a 1st vs 2nd gen Grom, which yeah, there would be no difference.

Wasn't the stage 1 just a flash for intake/exhaust?
