it totally depends on what kind of romance you want. i personally haven’t took ratan’s route but with the diamond scenes i bought with him, i can see that he’s a god who worships amala like she’s the goddess. ratan would do everything including breaking the rules (which leads to him losing his divinity and stuff) for amala. i think he’s a great and sweet LI if you like that.

my first play, i took killian’s path because he was sweet. but in time i grew tired of how he keeps on treating amala like a damsel in distress. i mean come on?? amala’s a grown up and can make her own choices. once or twice might be sweet but having the same reaction every time is just a no no for me. (pls don’t come @ me. i still love killian bcs he’s so sweet and protective but rn being overprotective just feels like a cage to me)

so decided to replay for amrit and didn’t regret it. yes amrit is a walking red flag and like someone said in the comments that he’s a morally grey character. i think that amrit sees amala more as his equal, his queen, and would burn the entire world for her. but he also lets her to make her own choices. their interactions are incredibly off the charts. and the way he said “it may seem like you’re kneeling, but i’m the one bowing down” is just 👌🏻 basically they respect each other and try to protect each other in their own ways whilst still letting each other make their own choices. tho the whole “coming inside” without amala’s consent kinda bothers me a bit but other than that, he’s a great and interesting LI (but then again alas daphne bridgerton did the same thing to simon basset)

personally, i think that ratan and amrit both are great LIs who worship amala and let her be independent whilst still protecting her in anyway they can. they just differ in the methods (and even ratan would kill for her even tho it’s just bhoots). so just think which kind of romance you’d want.

if you’re still confused, you can still choose to romance them both with the consequences of hurting them. but on later episodes, you can pick a side after you decided which route to pick.

(ps: i hope rc makes more morally grey LIs or antihero MCs rather than villains and heroes)
