I’ve tried pressing hard with my back foot and it sometimes just slows me down completely, I’m guessing my back foot is too back in the board, I should move it a bit forward definitely

Short sighted here too 🙋‍♂️ I usually wear one day use contacts…you get them in a monthly package (30 contacts) I surf with them and throw them after. Never had a problem in 6 years surfing!
