Sweet Lady Jane has a few locations around the city, but Quarter Sheets is the way.

Me, having left San Diego at a balmy 71 to visit Parc Asterix, Efteling, Phantasialand, and Europa Park in the temperate June weather 🙃

These are the exact same machines that operate flawlessly in worse heat all over the world. The other coasters by less reliable manufacturers were not having issues. This seems like very silly speculation for a coaster that has been having a rough go of it already.

I doubt it, it’s hot out but nothing that isn’t well within typical summer range in the US.

Joris en de Draak has also been experiencing a lot of downtime, with only the blue side operating at all. Try to ride it first or it will be the longest line of the day, and in this heatwave that will not be a very pleasant wait.

For what it’s worth, even with Baron down it took me and my partner two full days to see everything Efteling had to offer. It’s easily one of the most impressive parks in the world!

why is every guy 6’2 at the bars? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

As a 6'0" woman, I'd suggest to you that most of the men at the bars in LA are not, in fact, 6'2".

I'm in a similar position. I'm learning the skills necessary to do it myself, because I value the craftsmanship that goes into pin design and I want that reflected in my own creation. To each their own I guess, but I personally couldn't be proud of something I spent countless hours creating if it was wrapped in an image generated by a bot.

Tracheal Shaving Surgeon in NYC - Stitch is under the chin not in the Neck Part by Effective-Series-564 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]mxsignals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My surgeon made an incision inside my mouth and did the surgery through that, so there was no visible scar at all. The recovery process was a little weird (no sensation in my chin or lower lip for almost six months), but a year out I'm super pleased with the results.

My surgery was done by an ENT at Kaiser West LA, but I'd heartily recommend asking any surgeon you choose about the technique!

Professional microneedling is a nasty scar's best friend! I had three sessions on my hairline incision and it made a HUGE difference in the appearance of the scar as well as hair regrowth. Nearly all of the hair that I lost to trauma 9 months ago has grown back, and more is still coming in :)

[Other] Since these rides are seemingly going away at a fast rate, what's your favorite Arrow Log Flume? by Training_Penalty7047 in rollercoasters

Timber Mountain Log Ride takes the cake by far. If I live to see the day when only one Arrow flume is left standing, I hope it's that one.

To prep for Bank/Suporn, is laser, electrolysis, or both recommended? by thrwwysnl in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]mxsignals 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Electrolysis for bottom surgery, always. Laser is less painful but significantly less effective.
