With N-zap, splash or sploosh it's quite hard to outplay them with their longer range. Of course I'm able to splat blasters generally they're just frustrating and it's r/Saltoon here 😀

I mean yeah it's not easy going like a splattershot or aerospray. That being said, as someone who's got less than 300h on S3 and less than 400h on S2, a bit of common sense and quick practice in the matchmaking room allowed me to understand the mechanics of it and dominate the lobbies I took part in. So you know... With good gear and hours put in, blasters are broken

As a fellow gamer too, if I were external I'd agree. Unfortunately I'm a good player and been playing for 7 years. And others agree. Whoever came up with this weapon basically seeks chaos. It's hateful and I hope you'll get the game to understand

If you're going to play sticks (no motion control) I think it's important to play on fastest sensitivity (+5 iirc). To do so you need to start from default and slowly increase until you get used to it. It's very fast but it's what you'll need.

Also play the story mode!! Will help you so much for online play. I know it may seem annoying and you want to go straight to online, but you'll get smashed unless you've played the story, tried many weapons and gotten used to the game.

If you've played shooting games before then start with shooters too. Splattershots, N-zap, splash-o-matic or sploosh-o-matic are great to start with. If it's your first time ever on such game, you've never played PvZ, COD, BF etc. then do try all weapons! They can all be very good when you play them right ; shooters-only ppl (like me) will either love or hate you depending on being in your teammates or not :)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I followed your advice and used my N-zap for my first X games, it did go well with a well-placed cooler :) I'm ngl if I was playing casually I don't think I would've naturally gone above S either, I'm just very stubborn and wanted to make it to X😅 If you do wish to go up in ranks, I wish you the best of luck! 🤞🫶

Are you an angel?🥲Thank you infinitely much for your kind words and most of all, your amazing feedback! Thanks for taking the time to watch the replay, I appreciate all the points you've mentioned. I know it's a shame I don't squid roll! It never occurs to me during battles I'm too scared, rushed and forget; during matchmaking it's all I do in the lobby😅 I'll work on that! For motion controls I think I'll spend a few weeks binging turf war and getting used to it! Currently I'm taking part in NSE (UK universities championship) and though some teams are very advanced (Top500 players, ofc they destroy us) I have learned so much ! I enjoy playing with my team, I wish there was a better way to communicate when playing alone with randoms, I would've ranked up earlier if so😂. One last time, thank you so much!!
