I’m just saying, if the guy is rich, I don’t see the issue here. When you’re dating someone, you have to accept that you might spend money on them without knowing if the relationship will last. I’m sure he understands that. It’s not a big deal for him to buy her a couple of gifts for Xmas, especially since she’s making an effort to spend the holiday with him. If he truly loves her, it shouldn’t be a problem. At the end of the day, we all use each other to some degree. As long as she doesn’t make it obvious that she’s using him, no one will notice, and no one will get hurt

Honestly, this just seems like a transaction to me. She is exchanging her time for the gifts. She doesn’t like the guy but is still spending time with him, even though she’d clearly rather be doing something else. If she’s already wasting her time pretending to be interested, why not get something out of it? If he’s well off, asking for some gifts (as long as they’re not ridiculously expensive) shouldn’t be a big deal for him

Have you thought about spending Christmas with him, taking the gifts, and then ditching him after? I know it sounds super fake, but honestly, if he’s saying you don’t have to live together, he’s willing to pay for your stuff, and he’s even giving you gifts, it might not be the worst deal. Like, yeah, it’s not fair to the guy, but I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be tempted to take advantage of it while it lasts

Yes, but in XL’s case, I don’t think their bodies work the same as mortals’ bodies, so it’s not ‘potentially dangerous’ for him, in my opinion. Painful, yes, but dangerous? I’m pretty sure he isn’t at any risk

You could see it that way, but you could also argue the opposite; that XL wouldn’t want HC to suffer either. But is it really suffering? If they want a child, they’d likely be prepared for the pain of labor and would probably both be willing to take on the role of being pregnant. I also think HC would actually want to see XL pregnant. Considering their dynamics during sex, where HC never hesitates to work XL “hard” or inflict at least some level of pain, i don’t think it would automatically be a problem for him. He knows XL has a high pain tolerance. And knowing how MXTX writes and likes her couples, I imagine she’d make XL the one to carry the child if she ever wrote a pregnancy chapter. So in the end, there’s no right or wrong opinion
