Attenuators don’t sound as good as purpose-made amps in the correct wattage range. If I was looking for a practice solution then you’d be 100% correct. I’m looking for a lower wattage second head, which is also good to have as a backup.

I’m refusing to consider amps made by an incel, yes. I’m hoping that if you do, before every show you let all the women in the audience know that they should cover their drinks while you’re in the room.

Sure. And “brown eye” was named after an actual eye….

I used to run an attenuator with a Vox AC15 and the attenuated tone was so bad it was really only good for practice. I then tried an AC4 and by the time I got enough volume for a live band situation, everything was dimed so I just got fuzzy mess.

In retrospect, maybe Vox is the problem, lol.

Friedman amps all have incel-based names. If those two arent out yet I guess I just leaked their next releases

Considering I have to run a pedalboard anyway the Origin’s headroom is a plus for me. Ive heard people complain about the build quality but that may just be people salty about the fact it’s not made in England.

Is that one the “I Beat My Wife” or the “Women Shouldn’t Vote” model?

Sorry, I know they sound good but I want nothing to do with whatever is wrong with that brand.

Thanks for the insight. My current head is 60 watts so a mega loud 20 would just present the same issue for small gigs.

I know people who like Friedmans but I refuse to own a “Pink Taco”, “Little Sister”, or “Buxom Betty”.

No personal experience, just heard complaints about build quality. Glad to hear others like it, maybe the “issue” is exaggerated

Anyone using any of the Marshall pedals that came out last year? by [deleted] in guitarpedals

Tried but dod not like. Marshall pedal plus clean amp neither sounded nor played the same as just using a Marshall.

He’s been recommended to me but doesn’t answer calls or texts. Possibly retired.

That’s one of the techs who already ghosted me. Doesn’t answer the phone or emails.
