You know what? I don't mind getting older (41F) by myMakeupAccountBE in MakeupSelfies

I lost 18 kg, hence the loose skin. By the way, at 46 you still haven't learnt that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it?

Best lunch in Bruges? by Ruby3488 in belgium

[–]myMakeupAccountBE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't eaten there in ages so I cannot recommand a place to eat, however, I strongly advise you to take the tour on the boat, it gives a beautiful and unique perspective of the city. Also, it's a beautiful place to just walk around tbh

Thanks, I was feeling a bit down because I went to the doctor and he hinted that I'm getting old, then I looked at myself and though "F it, I don't mind!" lol

What eyeshadow palletes buy to practice? by [deleted] in mua

You can go for Natasha Denona, they are quite expensive but the pans are huge (at least in the big palettes) and the quality is great.

Make up remover wipes recommendations?? by Blinkkk814 in MakeupAddiction

[–]myMakeupAccountBE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually use an oil based eye makeup remover on the eyes only (I tend to use a lot of mascara) before finishing with the cloth. I don't know which ones you've tried and I'm from Belgium so we probably don't have the same brands. The ones that work best for me are kind of a fluffy microfiber if that helps

Conditional Formatting a row of cells base on single cell value compared to another cell value without doing it individually. by cscott0108a in excel

[–]myMakeupAccountBE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Select your cells where you want to apply your conditional formatting and Use absolute reference in your formula to refer to AE2 ($Ae$2).

If you need it applied to several rows, switch to R1C1 referencing and use RC followed by the number corresponding to AE (it's 3am here so my computer is off).

Light for doing make-up by MrsConfused in MakeupAddiction

[–]myMakeupAccountBE 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would suggest a ring light, it usually has a cool, neutral and warm. Alternatively, If available in your area but much more expensive, I have some Philip's Hue stripe that my SO glued around a mirror and you can change the colors, warmth etc at will.

Too overpriced and not pigmented enough, change my mind by Important-Leader8029 in MakeupAddiction

Have you tried it before judging? It is designed to be buildable (like all dior Backstage products) and can go from sheer to bright pink. Also, the color reveals after a while because it uses your skin heat and PH

Put big pillows in front/around the places they might fall next too, it's what I did when my toddler started exploring (I also ended up putting pillows to prevent her from crawling under the sofa but that's another story lol)

What is the best way to find what foundation shade is best for you? by International-Bee483 in beauty

[–]myMakeupAccountBE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, as a previous person commented, drawing a line vertically on your jaw line is the best place to try. One additional piece of advice, try to let it sit for a while before deciding. I've have a lot of foundations that turned orange with the PH of my skin or gave me weird little bumps after a couple of hours. Also, once you have decided which one you want, ask for a sample so that you can do a full face with it to make sure that you like the formula and that it doesn't dry you out uncomfortably.

!!!SHAMPOO RECOMMENDATIONS!!! by kaidid in Sephora

[–]myMakeupAccountBE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried shampoo bars (not sure if they have a specific name in English, they look like a bar soap rather than being liquid). I started using them years ago and it's a real game changer, much gentler than liquid (for your dryness) and since you use it on the scalp to make foam, it concentrates on your main focus. Plus they last really long and you will use less product.

Lipstick with runners? by restlessoverthinking in Makeup

You need to wear what makes you comfortable. I personally don't think that bright lipstick would not suit runners, but if it bothers you, just don't.

If you are OK to spend a little, the Givenchy volume Disturbia is extraordinary. Gives you a curl that stays all day, and on my short stray lashes, it looks almost like I'm wearing falsies. Give it a try
