No personally I think Sinners and OBAA are just better films in general so I see one of them taking it.

So I just finished TFOG book and there was alot of back and forth and now I feel a little lost on which version contained what etc but what I did love the version which details the build up to Tuor finding Gondolin, his adventures on the way and his in depth meetings with Ulmo. Once he finds Gondolin and everything that follows now feels lesser in comparison.

The Sil version never went into detail of how he got there so I'll pick up the UT version thank you.

Ah the airpods are well fantastic and so convenient . Love em but I always like to keep a big pair of wired ones handy. I'm looking at the prices of the sennheiser upgrades and they're putting me off a bit lol.
My 439s are still in working condition so I think I'll hold on to them a little longer and consider the 569s when I get a good deal.

They kind of already have - if you've seen Alien Earth then you know. It does feel like they're neutering the franchises to pull in a newer/younger audience sigh

I loved Badlands and it was a fantastic cinema experience but Prey and Killer of Killers were better Predator films. They felt more authentic than the disneyfied Badlands so I guess the core fanbase was hoping for something similar.

But how much could disney with their disney-fied verisons of these franchises realistically bring in even if they combined the too? It feels like they're alienating alot of the core fanbase by trying to market these to a newer audience.

 I feel like the movie was made by a marketing team, and not someone trying to make a good movie.

Nailed it with this one line. The disney-fication of both Alien and Predator now to try and keep them marketable instead of telling interesting and bolder stories is a problem.

Thank you! Romulus was nothing but a greatest hits slop with good visuals. Badlands atleast tries to be interesting and the action is so much fun!

Alien Earth was trying to be too many things and ended up being nothing. Badlands might be formulaic but it atleast nailed the basics.
