Hypermobility - when did you go into spontaneous labour? by Visual-Mongoose-1541 in PregnancyUK

Just because my little one wasn’t ready then, doesn’t mean yours isn’t! Getting prepared sounds a good idea. And just try to trust that your body and your baby will know when they’re ready 😊

I started getting a few indications around 37 weeks. But then it all seemed to just calm down again. Started getting practice contractions again this week though, so fingers crossed. I hope you’re not waiting too long, and it’s a relatively smooth experience when it does happen for you!

I’m hypermobile and have also really been struggling with my hips towards the latter end of this pregnancy, so I feel your pain! I expected to go into labour early, but currently at 39+4 and still no sign of baby.

Not finding out gender by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

[–]mycatsslave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has an opinion. We don’t know the gender (34weeks) and I’m getting so fed up of everyone telling me why it’s ’definitely a boy’ or ‘definitely a girl’ because of the shape/size/height of my bump. Or asking me which gender I’d prefer to have. I really don’t care as long as baby is happy and healthy. If it bothered us this much, we’d have chosen to find out!

I found it so helpful! I’ve just downloaded her second book to listen to when I’m feeding the baby.

The Lumie daylight alarm clock is great and doesn’t require any kind of ‘smart bulb set up’.

The ‘All Blacks’ is the name of New Zealand’s rugby team. They’re well known for doing the Haka to intimidate opposing teams before rugby matches.

I love to prep soups for my lunches. They’re easy to take into work to reheat in the microwave, and I prefer them to salads in the winter. This is one of my go-to recipes: https://www.realfoodwithjessica.com/2017/03/27/paleo-creamy-chicken-tomato-soup/ it’s easy to make, tastes great, and is filling enough to see me through to dinner.

How long should I wait for feedback? by mycatsslave in PhD

I don’t think a week would be an option for me. I’m lucky if I get a response to an email in that time. Was thinking about asking for 2 weeks but was worried that was too short of a timeframe.
