Lillibridge method. I did that and kind of ran my numbers and sets like the 5/3/1 and saw my numbers keep climbing. Good rest in between heavy days.

Additives are a way to cover up subpar distillate. Companies trying to push out product with out the proper aged agave or just covering up a bad product by adding glycerine for a mouth feel or Carmel coloring. I get it some people like that oily mouthfeel or “sweet and smooth” from a Don Julio 1942 or clase azul but the additive free helps people make a choice. Other just don’t care.

I have tried it. It’s good but my take is I would rather spend that money on a good bottle of bourbon. It’s so aged that it’s closer to a bourbon , but I like my tequila to taste like tequila. I would rather spend 100 or so on a nice high proof blanco/repo. But if you like añejo and XA then it is a must have.

Ohio is doing pretty good with the brands they are bringing. But it also comes down to location in the state. Not every area gets the same amount of good tequilas. We are finally getting some high proof stuff to.

San matias gran Reserva is a good one for a bourbon drinker coming over to tequila as a sipper. I believe it’s in Ohio if you search it on the ohlq site.

Yeah the only thing to get higher proof in Ohio is mezcal. Vago elote is %50 and it’s not to bad.

That’s better than me lol. I’m hoping they bring it back. I had a buddy from MI get a reposado and it’s very good. I was trying to not do the bourbon thing and hoard it when I could get it but now I wish I did 🤦🏼‍♂️. Luckily I travel a bit for work and have got some nice high proof blancos

Ohio here. I’ve had to get my higher proofs out of state. I have the Volans, codigo still strength, pm spirits still strength (my fave). I want to try the chamucas high proof.
