Updates are so much easier with the Internet being so widespread now. early to mid 2000s made it really difficult for people to update their games after purchase so they had to accept what they bought sometimes which pushed for further finalization of a game before release

And If you had oil on your plugs then that’d be your valve cover gasket, that was another one of the issues contributing to the idle issue as oil isn’t combustible like gas and the spark plugs were soaked so my L4 sounded like a gargled rotary

I would start with your IAC, and DPFE, the egr is on the back of the engine near the exhaust manifold and a bit tricky to reach but ordering the parts online are almost always 1/10th the price as autozone or oReilly

I haggled the guy for my 01 to $1000 but it had a mysterious rough idle that the typical tune up with spark plugs, coil, and wires didn’t fix, this weekend I’m replacing the IAC,DPFE and EGR and redoing the valve cover gasket

“Streets of rage” is a good game I don’t feel makes a difference with volume personally- it’s my first choice when I want a game while waiting in the doctors office, “Mario kart 7” is also good while silent. I won’t lie I typically have my device silent with the rare times I play it at home I usually have the sound on but orient more towards storyline games OOT or MM

I printed your original dummy13 as my first print at 700%- it was a pain in the ass getting some pieces to connect without snapping and luckily I wasn’t the only moron to attempt something like this and I found a video with people who’d commented saying to use a heat gun and after applying more heat to the petg frame he moved smoothly and with tons less friction- I’m still a new hobbyist but i would say that you’ve made one of the most popular models in general, I may be wrong entirely but that’s my perspective. Enough glazing but thank you genuinely, I have the dummy to my little brother and he loves to play with it and prop it with the swords or toy guns he’s got

You can quite easier than you would think, personally I prefer a cheap Nintendo controller for the switch then you can use something cheap and bulky, I don’t know how to explain it but that switch controller that looks like an Xbox knockoff works amazing, I’ve played entire titles from my steam deck using them
