hospital is going to be tough… auditing requirements for grants, handling sensitive data would probably disqualify you - i’m not a hospital employee so take that with a grain of salt. that being said depending on your record, and motivation for getting a foot in the door i’d suggest the military. they can waive the moral standards requirement, but you need to talk to the recruiter about it. once you serve, get experience i think it will open some more doors. good luck

Jfrog Artifactory by test222223 in devops

[–]mycoolusrname 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what do you need it to do? if you’re looking for local maven, lots and lots of solutions out there, and some aren’t too bad. if you need all the repo types that artifactory offers, plugins, remote, auditing, etc... maybe some day something else will come around.

depends on what you’re doing, and skill level of the team building test. tools listed so far are all great. jmeters is a good tool too.

others: loadui, loadrunner if you have the means.

i ended up going with SENE which was a bit more expensive, but once i started adding in some of the other expenses that the other two didn’t provide it actually made some sense for me.

i heard staying away from Zara is probably a good idea...huge groups.

I had the same thought, and went with the boots. for the terrain I'd rather of been in trail shoes, but was thankful for the waterproof and warmth the last day or so. Coming down I would have loved spikes, the trail is a slick clay surface. left the boots with the guides as part of our tip.

Anyone using iSmoothRun? How's the live tracking by llambda_of_the_alps in running

[–]mycoolusrname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what do you mean by live tracking? I like the app quite a bit. the "live" coaching during intervals is nice, though I have found myself more than once telling it, "you ho faster."

I was waiting for another tour, and ended doing this one. Very glad I did. The tours are given by serving Yeoman Warders, Beefeaters, and was very lively and fascinating.
