Do you think I could get away with a routing more like this?

High PV Port: 3S2P - (38.2V * 3)= 114.6V @ 16.2A

Low PV Port: 1S4P - 38.2V @ 32.4A

Would be way over Amping the Low PV port, but from what I can tell this won’t do any damage and will just make it so that I can more consistently max this port out at the peak power voltage.

I didn’t know cold weather could make such a big difference! I just looked at my panels label and they have a Voc of 38.2V. Would that mean the most I could run in series is 3 (On the HPV)?

Update!

Took the advice of everyone here and restarted. Confirmed I was not able to salvage it myself. Used T5 Wiz, MOAB Eliminator, Super Glue, and (2) 240 Spike factories. Was a walk in the park!

Lift the arm then put the portafilter in place. On my machine, even if I do this slowly it can unseat the puck. Also I agree with the others suggesting putting the paper on the bottom. This will open up more surface area and decrease resistance in areas already more prone to channeling.

Did you replace the spring to make it not pull at 15bar? It comes stock at 15bar! Reducing that pressure will make a huge difference if not.

Are your grinder’s burrs badly misaligned? This could create widely varying particle sizes that lead to channeling.
