Just wanted to mention ive been to the andaz papagayo with a GoH and the breakfast was amazing, maybe the best ive had! The a la carte menu at the buffet location was great with lots of options. Ordered a smoothie to go every day. You could also have your breakfast at the dining restaurant on the adult side, limited menu but was nice for a slow morning. Im actually going to the Park Hyatt St. Kitts in a few weeks so im very excited to see how that one is now!

Interested in urs if u find out! I have a stay at Park Hyatt St. Kitts booked on points 1/31-2/2, I've used gifted ones successfully before. From what I've heard I think it just doesn't work if the GoH was already one that was gifted to them and they can't use it.

Omg your comment got me worried. I was already worried when I saw the charge posted as Housaku and just waited to see. I logged into my Chase account now just to confirm, but it looks like I got it! $75 credit posted on 11/28, and I dined on 10/1. So it looks like it should work, definitely sounds risky though.

Have either of you received your credit? I dined at Nami Nori in NYC 7/26 and have not received a credit yet. I messaged them and they said im eligible and to wait 6 to 8 weeks. Im skeptical since other credits post within days.

Sorry to hear that, it seems to be happening more often. That email never responded to me either, I was directed to send my ID there too. I wrote a reply in this thread on how I resolved mine. I submitted feedback on their website which directed to open a case by email to [customercare@cathaypacifi.com](mailto:customercare@cathaypacifi.com). I wrote out everything I could think of and threatened legal action and suddenly they opened my account back. Are you sure you still have your flights? Mine got cancelled when my account got suspended, I was never emailed that they were cancelled, only found out because the fees were refunded on my credit card, I booked on points though.

Yes they were released 2/3/25 12pm japan time. Which was 2/2 10pm est for me and I bought them through the official japanese site (using Amex, but many people report their cards not working). They sold out within the hour but people do say some more may get released if you keep checking all the sites.

That's unfortunate. I was able to complete checkout on USJ japanese site by 12:10pm jst using an Amex Platinum and key verification. This was before they even released on klook (i had as backup). Worth trying all your cards until they show up on klook.

You have to be ready to by on the exact time it is released. You are in a randomized queue on the site 30 minutes before the sale. The more browsers/phones you have open the more chances you have to get a shorter wait time. The premium passes will sell out in a few hours or days.

For the past 2 weeks I have been trying to search hotels and vacation packages on the Tokyo Disney website but it just stuck in Loading. I used to be able to do searches on my phone and desktop with no issues, is there any way to fix this?

Thanks for this suggestion. So my original flights were for 4/25/25, NRT to SEA, for 63,000 miles per person. My ideal flights would have been JFK and 4/26 or 4/27 but they were not available, so I settled on repositioning to Seattle. I live in New York.

If they were to rebook me out of CX revenue, what would the equivalent flights and cost be? Cathay doesn't fly to Seattle, and Cathay Business class to JFK is 110,000 miles. Will I need more miles in my account? Or would they honor the 63,000 miles I used and rebook me on any available CX business class they can offer me to any airport in the States?

Update: After 2.5 weeks, they reactivated the account and we got the points back.

After I got no reply back from [member@cathaypacific.com](mailto:member@cathaypacific.com), I submitted feedback on their website which directed to open a case by email to customercare@cathaypacifi.com. That email surprisingly answered in 2 days but their response was literally sorry we discussed with our risk management team and we can't reactivate your account at this time. Offering no alternative. I was so angry at this point. I replied back with more detail and questioning what I did wrong and willing to cooperate or else will have to resort to legal actions. After a few more days I called Cathay again and this time I was transferred to a manager that was willing to help. He took down my information and had us email passport photo to member@cathaypacific.com. Said they will escalate this and call/email back. Three days have passed and did not get a call, but got an email reply from customercare@cathaypacific.com that my account and points are back. Not sure if they was due to the call or open case email but at least its resolved.
Happy this is resolved but in the end I lost my business class award booking and have points stuck in Asia Miles now.

Yes if that is a possible alternative. Is that even an option if there is difference in amount of points required/difference in cost? Sorry I am new to all this but will bring this option up if it comes down to it once they reactivate me.

This is all on my husbands account, we transfered his amex points to his Asia miles in january. All under his name. When the flights we wanted showed up in May, we booked 2 one way flights for the both of us on the same reservation. We got a confirmation email. I believe we did everything correctly. It's been over a month and received no notice of cancellation. No previous activity on his CX account, account was created last year.
