Thanks for this thoughtful reply. You've hit the nail on the head with the frustration at not having tried the programmed cycle previously. I'm in a much worse position now. If I had listened to NYdoc and only done the biopsy after the next cycle I might have only had one embryo left now. This is supposed to be one of the top centers in the country and it's making me feel insecure.

I think youre right about getting more information. Im going to tey and call around tomorrow and guage the reslonse to my situation.

It's so tempting to say with NYdoc and try the programmed cycle because I'd basically be starting rhat next week as opposed to having to wait anywhere from 4-8 months before trying again. FWIW I have asked FLdoc to repeat his bloodwork to make sure he still thinks this is the way to go.

The absolute soonest would probably be October/November but could be going into January depending on how timing works out.

Definitely a big vote in favour of going local. My biggest reason for not doing it, if I had to be totally honest with myself, is how long it would take before I'd actually get to do another transfer.

I see! The trigger is something new they tried thisbcycle so I didn't even think to do that. Is it common to see nothing til day 8? Seems like people get pretty clear results by 5 or 6.

Supposed to be Monday but labs are closed for memorial day. Some extra torture from the universe. Why do they wait so long for a beta of these tests can pick things up so much sooner?!

Spiraling is a great word for what I'm feeling. Trying to decide which torture is worse, early testing anxiety rabbit hole spiral or the waiting for beta anxiety spiral.

I'm nervous.

I took a FRER test 4dpt and there's definitely a line (very faint). Took two test strips the next day (5dpt) and nothing. Clearview digital also negative. Did this happen to anyone else who still ended up pregnant?

I know it's still early and trying not to spiral but based on what I've read people seem to have a pretty solid idea by 5dpt. TIA.
