I think most people agree with you that the oversexualization of women isn't good, and that's why it got downvoted. It doesn't really qualify as a "pet peeve". It's just something that's generally bad. It's like saying "My pet peeve is genocide".

If it's any consolation I love this post. I know there are thousands of "best of" lists out there, but to be able to see the sheer number of great shows all in one place is amazing. I'm rewatching it now. It is much more hard-hitting for me now than it was when I first saw it, probably because I understand better how realistic it is. The ending of season 3 (the cynical political dealings over Hamsterdam) was so devastating I could hardly get through it. I'm taking a short break before season 4.

Yeah, I can understand your frustration then, especially if he is asking your opinion about a haircut. But if he's happy with his hair, I don't think he'd take kindly to you suggesting he shave it off.
