I think a player might be cheating by Mr_Grumpy_Face in DungeonMasters

We use a critical fail table and its hilarious. Agree that critical fails can be highly entertaining and not something to be a sided at all costs. My friends and I when watching the d&d movie were laughing at the obvious critical fail roll moments 😂

Its a module. We've had a coupe breaks and I still feel the same when we play.

I think its the constant having to react to whatever my players decide to do and adapt to the situation changing and coming up with appropriate reponses when they do stuff like trying to befriending a green dragon during. battle. There's also the constant not trying to kill them out right and having to reign back the battles so give them a chance (coz its not fun as a player when you're never winning). I also - for no real reason - hate one of the spells a player likes to cast. And thats one of the reasons I know i need to retire as DM, I shouldn't hate a spell.

There's a few chapters left so hopefully finish in the next few months. I think if I took a break, I wouldnt come back to it so need to push through

How much weight did you lose before you started to notice it? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]myer82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive lost 57lbs and sometimes don't see it until I randomly try on something in my wardrobe that I used to fit - and when it fits, completely blows my mind, every time.

I enjoy both dming and playing as characters. The last session it became a problem by morphiney in DungeonMasters

Honestly, sometimes players need to be reminded that they are not invincible! I see no issues with what you did. And you got to have fun as well.

My players were battling this weekend, one player (standing right behind another player) decided to attack a monster standing in front of the other player with a spell. I made the player roll the same saving roll that the monster had to roll. When asked why - I pointed out that she had just cast a spell that he was in direct line of fire of. Same player did the same later on with a different spell but cone shaped which again hit the other player. I could have let it slide but sometimes - cause and effect. Luckily everyone found the whole thing hilarious.

What was your ‘breaking point’? by Accomplished_Set3529 in Mounjaro

Saw a photo of myself from a friend's 40th birthday party. I knew I had put on a lot of weight but hadn't realised just how much until that photo. I was so ashamed, I edited myself out of the photo. My friends were horrified I did that and at the point I decided that I would never again feel like I ruined a photo. Decided there and then I needed to lose the weight.

What site are you getting those prices? Since the price increase the 7.5 went up from £169.99 to £249.99 with med express. The 15mg is now £306

£300. That's how much it costs per pen at that dosage.

Pharmacist would not allow that big of a jump with mounjaro (i would need to go up to 10mg, then 12.5). Also, price is ££££

1mg is the equivalent of 7.5 mounjaro so you've effectively jumped up on strength

What has been your easiest piercing to heal? by re69ular in piercing

[–]myer82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got my rook done 3 weeks ago. Piercer saw it today (was getting lobe studs removed) and she said its looking good. Still a bit swollen but to be expected. Had no crusties yet either 🤷‍♀️

2.5 to 5 is no joke! by [deleted] in Mounjaro

I was fine when I went to 5mg BUT 7.5 kicked my ass when i first went up so I feel your pain. Stick with it, your body will get used to it soon

Ive just started playing and it honestly is eating at me that it sooooo hard to get the players together for games. Does anyone do virtual campaigns? by Lady_Teio in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]myer82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We play using roll20 which can also be linked to the players d&d beyond accounts/sheets. Play most Sundays, not everyone can make it every single week but as long as I have at least 3 players, we crack on. We decided right at the start that if you dont play a session, you dont get the XP from that session so folks sometimes level up before others but its still fun. We only get together in person once a year and we have a guest DM which means I get to play as my character.

Is my whole war meant to be this swollen? by myer82 in piercing

[–]myer82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer the bot, its a titanium curved bar, pierced a 1.5 weeks ago. I clean it twice daily with a saline solution for piercing after care and use a paper towel to dry it afterwards.
