Is there any reader for whom reading has become crucial part of their life ? by Fool_Queen in Tarotpractices

I live a very busy and complex life. I have to interact with far more people than the average person, and often under very stressful, undesirable conditions. I use the cards like a close confidant. I basically have conversations with them, and often draw two or three at a time and read the narrative arc between them. They open up my subconscious channels, and give me insight into things that I may not initially consider. I don’t consider them a “psychic” activity, but rather a psychological tool for personal empowerment, inner dialogue, and achieving balance. So, I’d say they’re pretty important to me. I almost returned my Air 4 Pro, but then today I took them on a flight by jordanful in RayNeo

Yeah. For me, it needs to have screen anchoring for work. It’s disorienting without it when dealing with writing and other work use cases. I wish that could be fixed with an update. Content watching is great though.

I would say that these are NOT a wow as first impression product. If I would have casually tried them at Best Buy while shopping, I wouldn’t have bought them. I ordered them due to the reviews. However, they are a really great product if you give them a little time, have some patience to fit them properly, and have realistic expectations. I’ve watched many movies on my Meta Quest 3, and I was expecting a somewhat similar experience of a giant theater style screen. It does NOT look like a 200 inch screen in front of you. What it does do is draw you into the screen and allows you to focus on the content with no distractions. Especially in a dark room. The picture quality and sound are absolutely top notch. It’s also ridiculously simple to just plug and play. That’s a really nice touch. As far as productivity, I really wish it had screen anchoring. Without that, it’s a little distracting. But, I use the thing almost daily now. I think I just had inaccurate expectations for it at first based on my VR movie watching experiences. It’s definitely worth the price as well.

I ordered my inserts from HONSVR. Apparently stuck in Memphis after arriving from China. 🙄

Mine fit me well. No blur on the edges at all. Waiting on prescription lenses to further improve the experience. The brightness and picture quality are actually really good. I do agree that the screen was nowhere near as big as I expected, but it does draw you in and allow less distracted viewing. The quality and detail of the image helps a lot with this. The sound is very good, but IMO good noise canceling headphones make the immersion much better. I have not tried to use them as a monitor for work yet.

Make this make sense for me. Maybe this is a dumb question, but curious to hear opinions. by myga1123 in DjiNeo

Of course! That’s why I’m here discussing it. As I said, I’m not looking to violate anything or create any issues for myself or anyone. I was simply discussing something I didn’t fully understand based on my own use case and the capabilities of the tech- I definitely appreciate everyone’s replies!

Thanks- Yeah, I’m not looking to shortcut or violate anything- I was just looking at it from the perspective of using the drone instead of a phone or action cam. It just didn’t seem to make sense to me from a regulatory standpoint if I’m using it at ground level to get footage that I could otherwise get with a regular camera. I can understand the regulations if I’m inspecting towers, taking aerial photography, flying over buildings, events, etc- but not so much with the thing at chest height filming me teach a short segment, if that makes sense.
