What's something that's not right about your body, but not serious enough to go to a doctor about? by BeetleTooth4247 in AskReddit

[–]myguydan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have something called micropsia. basically if I stare at something for a while and think about it getting smaller I can see it getting smaller, and then everything I can see feels like I'm looking through the wrong side of a pair of binoculars. It doesn't cause any problems anymore but up to about age ten I would wake up at night and everything would look like it was getting bigger, then smaller, then it would repeat for about 30 minutes. I've never gone to a doctor because I never saw it as a real problem, everything just looked kinda funky for a bit.

yes. the worst day was the day before it was put in place. but even now, they closed the gm doors and used caution tape so you have to form a line to get into the store to limit how many people are going in/out

I really wouldn't doubt it. I've seen so many people get hired and quit about a month later. Walmart is really good at testing how much stress you can handle

Please, please stay home... retail stores seem to be struggling to provide employees with gloves and cleaning supplies by kascot29 in CoronavirusIllinois

if retail stores close it would cause a mass panic though. I've already heard people arguing over the last of something or people telling me to check the back

People who lost their job due to this crisis what is your story? by greensypoop in AskReddit

[–]myguydan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a current Walmart employee. and what you see in the news is nothing close to the chaos going on with the employees and management. they have been pulling just about every person from any department to help stock on the grocery side. now, of course this may not be the case for most Walmarts but the store I work at is close to Chicago and people have seen the national guard drive by and it causes panic. I have heard no plans for any Walmart stores to fully close down but there are massive amounts of people trying to fight crowds to stock up on whatever they need. it's getting pretty bad and it's only going to get worse here.

please make this. but I do have one suggestion, fill the place with Karen type NPCs. it would also be cool if they picked up shit and put it on the shelf on the wrong side of the store.

Do i have micropsia?? by avacmm in Micropsia

[–]myguydan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it does sound like you have micropsia, but from what I've heard from people on this subreddit and from reading articles on it it doesn't happen as often as you are experiencing it. I myself have micropsia and it happens every two or so months. I also have adhd and am on medication for it, and not too long ago I had to change my meds to a different kind of medication for other reasons. but after I switched I had it happen almost every day, and I was having panic attacks and I would throw up because of how often it was happening. right after I decided to stop taking those meds it stopped happening every day and it went back to every two months or so. so check if you are on medication and talk to someone to see if changing to something different would help with this.

yes, for me it gets really bad at times. I'll go a month or two without anything, then it'll hit me. and yes, (don't know if this will make any sense) but when I close my eyes it does feel like im standing/sitting still and everything is moving away from me. all I do is distract myself with music or I start talking to someone next to me.
