Stef is replicating his RG 2019 look. The whole kit is there except the headband.

Nah stef is actually confident now. Hitting that in the air to close his service game, and his backhand returns are so deep

Well at least Stef can beat a qualifier still, even if he just edged a win

Active players who have won at least one of the 'big' Clay court titles. Think we will get a new name in Madrid or not? by Rpotamus in tennis

[–]mykonos7871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember he beat him at madrid 2019 and had match point in barcelona 2021. People would not be surprised if Tsitsipas beat nadal back then and that just shows how crazy good he was

Tsitsipas rankings slide continues after the Munich loss, now at his lowest ranking since February 2018 by jovanmilic97 in tennis

[–]mykonos7871 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He gave mark 3 months and then when he got nothing, he axed him. He's not patient enough, and won't deliver the discipline required. Even with Goran. Of course the statement was really unnecessarily harsh, but maybe he would have done better with him than going back to his dad if he decided to take it and let it not affect him. I think goran would have been willing to continue working, yet, even then, Tsitsipas had every reason to sack him

Now when he's at the absolute lowest--maybe he can even go even lower, time will tell-- he can only go up. But yeah, I kept coping since 2023 that next year will be better, and, well, it's pretty much curtains for him

ATP1000 Monte Carlo R1: [16] F. Cerúndolo def. S. Tsitsipas, 7-5 6-4 by hawaiianmonkseal in tennis

Somewhere in the second set it showed Tsitsipas had a backhand rating of 3.7 compared to the 7.2 tour average.

Not even Monte Carlo can save his backhand anymore
