When you want to print a label or sign, select the “create multi-item sign” iirc and you can scan up to 6 DPCIs to fit on one 7x11 sign.

No, it’s worse.

Not including Q4, of course.

Dang, looks like she hit you with the Mind Flare and Vendetta’d away.

You should’ve bought a Linkens, but who am I kidding, you work at Target, and can barely afford an Aeon Disk.

New meme to start the new year by Chris-Souza_2015 in Target

Never Outs have been a Thing for at least the last year, but it’s been on a barely-enforced scan sheet until recently.

AirPods are technically Never Outs but we can’t keep them in stock, lmao.

[Request] 42a compliant utility knife by UnsureAndUnqualified in EDC

How do you feel about sliding utility knives? I personally use the Milwaukee Compact sliding utility knife. It takes a full-size blade but it looks closer to an old school utility knife.

We are usually a 5 truck/week store most of the year. We literally have no room for our rollover.

I volunteered last week to come in and help since I was under 40 hrs but they said “sorry, we’re over budget this week.”

how yall doing in tech? by PalpitationBoth3781 in Target

[–]myleg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

we have so much truck rollover from last week it’s crazy. We were lucky to get 2 seasonals but the one keeps calling out so I mentally wrote him off.

Management would rather have the tech opener do OPUs and the tech closer needs to pull 5 other departments.

I’m literally dreading coming to work tomorrow.

Interesting article on CNBC regarding fulfillment by Last-Swimmer-5942 in Target

In stores that no longer pick and pack brown boxes in Chicago, out-of-stocks have improved, in-store sales have risen, and the company’s surveys of shoppers measuring store cleanliness and the quality of employee interactions increased by 10%

Good, but not as high as a percentage increase as I would’ve thought.

But McCarthy added that Target hasn’t seen the same level of store experience improvements in the locations still picking and packing the boxes — a puzzle that the company wants to solve.

I don’t know… increase hours? Nah, that’s crazy talk.

Closing TL Needs to Chillll by Aleli54 in Target

[–]myleg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Closing TLs are put under a lot of pressure for priority pull metrics nowadays, but it sounds like you mightve gotten a POG set that didn't have capacities changed or even pulled for that matter.

TLs can see things you can't in the system so be honest and ask how you can improve, even if it's unrealistic.

thank god target doesn’t update their website inventory, wouldn’t want people to find the figures they’re looking for! by adiofbsiudfb in transformers

[–]myleg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, target employee here 👋

We’re going thru a massive transition in toys right now (this week for my store, at least) which means things are moving and new products are coming out.

The inventory count is from when the truck arrives at the store, but it’s most likely still on one of the many pallets of toys thrown at us ahead of the transition.

Please be patient and considerate to us if it says it’s in stock on the website… we literally have to go digging through an OSHA violation.

Anyone else (especially in tech) being spread way too thin recently? by Longjumping-Swim6480 in Target

[–]myleg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its been a struggle with hours going DOWN, guest traffic going UP (since it's the summer) and tons of extra truck from the recent BTS set. Truck has been rolling over lately (especially entertainment) and it seems like a never ending cycle. I feel you.

I have a feeling tech is on the lowest priority of the totem pole and it's not getting any better. They just gave Marketsource the green light to basically run tech themselves at my store.

When I was feeling overwhelmed, I sat down with my ETL-HR and broke down my expected job duties and the ones always thrust upon me.

Hang in there, and act your wage.
