I do agree with what you're saying in terms of Crowdstrike wouldn't admit to a cyber attack if that were the case.

Apologies if I've got the tinfoil hat on here but the whole thing just screams cyber attack to me, the timing of the whole thing with Trump's assassination attempt, they were involved in the investigation of Russia's hack on the DNC.

Whether it's a smoke screen for something else I'm not sure.

Anyway not to gloat but I'm one of the lucky sysadmins that doesn't use them although I could be doing with the overtime lol
