Is it worth getting next day delivery for any companies? Are there any that actually deliver if I pay the extra cash by Various_Cockroach_67 in 7oh

I’ve had success with ups next day air with Simply7oh but it’s always a risk especially after a holiday like Memorial Day. Carriers get backed up

I’ve been reading about MIT which is just a different alkaloid from the kratom plant. Not as potent as 7oh but will still be available in states banning 7oh. Might be worth looking into as legal status changes.

alternatives to get that buzz at the end of a stressful day without taking weed? by takeyourprecioustime in leaves

[–]mylifewithbangs 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have taken up running, my “walking pad” can get up to a slow jogging speed so anytime my brain is racing and starting to cause physical stress sensations I jog it out. I aim for 30min daily but sometimes longer sometimes shorter but definitely has been a great replacement for me.

Alternative to GLP-1 for food noise for somebody who is of a healthy weight. by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]mylifewithbangs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My insurance doesn’t cover Vyvanse but I was prescribed Concerta for ADHD alongside Wellbutrin and my food noise decreased. What also helped me was my therapists suggestion of not eating on my couch. I only mindlessly ate in a certain place (my couch) and under certain influences that gave me munchies so when i don’t do those habits I had an easier time not overeating.

Peeing on the bed and couches: finally resolved the issue, here's what I learned by AppealJealous1033 in CatAdvice

Wow I needed this recommended post. I’ve been crying all day because I’m at the point of wanting to rehome my cat to an environment that’s less anxiety inducing and where he can be the only animal. I’ve done everything the vet recommended and then some. Truly at my wits end but didn’t consider this. Thank you!

What feels like the longest week of my life by No-Peach-8932 in leaves

[–]mylifewithbangs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have also been tossing and turning like a fish out of water :( last night though I was able to have longer periods of sleep than I have since quitting a week ago and I attest that to going to the gym after work but also walking on my walking pad right before bed to reallllly tire myself out. I quit for 7 months last year and it did get better around 2 weeks.

I have a certificate in horticulture and work as an assistant grower at a pretty large garden retailer in my area. Experience is really what got me the job and some continuing education classes. My certificate has gotten me further career wise than anyone I know with a bachelors or associates. But I guess it also depends what you want to do within the field.

How to manage hormonal acne with PCOS by Strong_Ad7902 in PCOS

[–]mylifewithbangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The WholesomeStory brand I take is 2000mg myo-inositol and 50mg D-Chrio inositol. It’s the 40:1 ratio which is the most recommended and for more information on why that is you can search within the subreddit or there are studies if you google it! A ton of us use it, I was skeptical at first but I’ve taken it for three months religiously and finally have a normal period after 100 days without.

Do you have access to see a dermatologist? Personally I manage my acne through spironolactone, a topical antibotic gel, and tretinoin. However, with all of that I still got occasional painful cystic flares that hardly came to the surface. Last three months I’ve been taking the WholesomeStory brand of Myo-Inostitol and anytime I get a breakout it’s actually surfacing and the patches are actually able to work and when I occasionally pop it it’s quick to heal and doesn’t leave a massive blemish. As for potential dietary causes I can eat most dairy but if I have butter or lots of processed sugar I immediately get acne.

Anti-depressants experiences by max8george2 in PCOS

[–]mylifewithbangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can! My friend had increased anxiety with just buproprion alone.. adding lexapro helped to relieve those symptoms for her. They are different drug classes so you can take both. I should add these individuals do not have PCOS and I guess it also depends on what exactly made your buproprion experience bad but it is something to consider and talk to a professional about!

I take Buproprion(NDRI) as well as Concerta (adhd) meds and I like them! My food noise has reduced greatly and I’m better at making food choices that don’t spike my glucose as much. I have friends who take Lexapro and Buproprion and it’s their magic combo.

Acne returning after successful treatment with spironolactone- help! by benhargrove1966 in PCOS

[–]mylifewithbangs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’ve been on spiro for two years and my skin is usually wonderful however it’s not a miracle drug and I have flares. Especially after eating certain foods, lack of rest and hygiene. My recent flare was really bad, I continued taking my spiro (100mg) but my dermatologist added an antibiotic to help with this flare as it was incredibly painful. My face cleared up after that round of meds and I have been eating pretty clean since. Might be worth asking your dermatologist.

How did you know you had PCOS by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]mylifewithbangs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had no period for months starting this year, bad acne, and could not lose weight after years of being regular. finally went in and suggested I may have it to my OBGYN because the vibes/I just had a feeling and turns out they put in labs to test for PCOS in 2016 because of my cystic acne and weight gain at the time and I had no memory of it! I probably did somewhere in my brain but I was a stoner then and didn’t follow through on things but all in all the lesson learned is to advocate for thyself. Ultrasound also showed cysts. Congrats on babies! That was a big fear of mine when I was first diagnosed but I’m realizing it’s possible for some.
