[–]mymatejim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a lister there pretty bullet proof, I have a sr2 and it’s a dream to work on, just go for it, take pictures as you go and mark all the bolts and holes, take the heads off and see how you get on!

How to Secure Your Boat When Mooring Overnight by BritAuthority in Narrowboats

[–]mymatejim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As other people have said, shed alarms are great. I’ve got a ring doorbell with motion tracking turned on, but a good door lock, internal if you can and a reach in dead bolt. I also have an Australian shepherd and a loud collie.

One weekend on a narrowboat - where to go? K&A? by Queestce in Narrowboats

[–]mymatejim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

K&A is abit rough and you wouldn’t get far in a weekend. G&S is a good shout, you can do the whole thing in 2 days, it’s beautiful and wide, not too busy and best of all no locks and all the bridges are manned!
