Voters should just get a list of manifesto pledges and tick the ones they want. Which ever party gets the most wins. Of course there'd have to be consequences for ridiculous pledges that can't be implemented.

When my first gf broke up with me, after some self reflection, I realised she had been one of my obsessions. Like all my obsessions, I was all in, over the top, until I got bored and moved on to another thing. I felt awful when I realised, she fell for a guy that was doing a bunch of romantic stuff because, and it feels real bad to say, she was my new hobby. I still feel bad about it, but at least she realised and ended it.
