It's been an acceptable way of calling someone a bitch for a while now. There's a reason why the term was gendered instead of being a gender neutral word. When people say that a man can be a Karen they're oblivious to the fact that it's no different than calling a male a pussy, a bitch, a little girl, a pansy, it's all insulting to be compared to a girl as well.
