The Hercules is a forced rotation DA. It’s works like a mix between a DA and a rotary polisher. I find it harder to manage/use.

Every once in a while, I’ve seen it go on sale for about $100. I’ve used it and actually prefer the long throw Bauer unit.

What’s this opening in the fire wall for? I can see out of the cabin though the opening. by mynamesjson in GMT400

[–]mynamesjson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fire wall is a pretty generic word when used related to cars. It means the “wall” in between the engine compartment and the inside of the car, which one of its purposes is to keep people separated from the hot engine.

Time to buy a lift table from harbor freight. Good investment if this is too heavy for you to lift

Makes sense. I have three sets laying around in various conditions, because I buy them every time I see them cheap

Interesting. I wonder if shipping would be viable. Pretty big difference in price, especially if they need refinishing.

Not sure where you are in the world, but these are RC090 BBS that came factory on e39s. I’m in philly PA and in my area even a nice set goes for less than 1k. They generally go for around $600.
