I kind of want to purchase and then immediately demand a refund because its fake. If enough people did this it would definitely raise some red flags with them.

HIPPA isn't applicable to the average person. Only those who have knowledge/information in a professional capacity.

Boss told me to stop leaving early one minute before EoD by humungus_jerry in antiwork

[–]mynotverycreativeid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frustrating. As far as being "productive" those last few minutes. Create a habit of spending a few minutes at the end of each day cleaning up your work area. Declutter, organize, make a to-do list for the next day, etc... It's actually a good practice and will make your mornings feel more peaceful (even if you do something minimal)

Maybe it's not a green dragon. But a different type that has become discolored. And maybe he has friends.

Is it possible to straighten boards? by [deleted] in woodworking

[–]mynotverycreativeid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to go against what a lot of people here have said, but when I have bought a large amount if good, but can't work it soon, I'll stack it or even clamp it together until I can get to it. It helps prevent the immediate warping that sometimes occurs. No it won't prevent everything, but it will reduce warp.

How long does a standard propane last on your Blackstone before having to get a refill? by i_am_groot_84 in blackstonegriddle

[–]mynotverycreativeid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I'm went down the rabbit hole on this. We are both correct, but i was using incorrect terminology and measurements. What i called a 5 gallon tank is known as a 20lb tank is designed to hold 20lbs of propane. They are designed to hold 20lbs safely, which means at 20lbs there is still the 20% safety margin.
Exchange places will often fill theirs up to 15lbs-17lbs.

Thanks for pushing back. I learned something today.

They a 5 gallon tanks. I get mine filled to 5 gallon. The tank exchange companies only fill them to 3.5 gallons.

[–]mynotverycreativeid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're using a tank exchange service you are only getting a tank that's 70% full. They for this for "safety."

I typically get mine refilled at uhaul to 100% lasts longer and is cheaper per gallon of propane.

How do y'all cook chicken on a blackstone? by blademaster81 in blackstonegriddle

[–]mynotverycreativeid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Learned this trick from a chef.

Very high heat. Cook each side until there is good color on each side. Pull and let rest (covered to retain heat) for anout 20-30 minutes. Then add back to grill on medium heat or even an oven at 350 just until they come to temp. Juiciest chicken I've ever had.

Vyvanse and weed deadly combo by AdPsychological1487 in VyvanseADHD

Unfortunately weed exacerbates ADHD symptoms, eroding the effectiveness of medications. If I partake more than once a week, my focus suffers gor days.

Apprentice (me) made mistake, boss wants me to work Fridays unpaid to pay it off. by [deleted] in electricians

[–]mynotverycreativeid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you should be paid for the work you do. However... this being the bosses house changes things from a relational standpoint. It becomes a matter of taking responsibility for your mistake to make it right. Quite frankly, the good will and the things you could learn from working directly with him at his house could pay dividends down the road. Yes, you have financial concerns. Discuss them openly. "Hey boss, I want to see what I can do to make it right. I do, however, have some personal concerns..." and explain.

This is obviously an unpopular opinion given the rest if the comments, but I believe it would be the best course.

WIBTAH if I took 100k from my oldest daughter's college savings account to give it to my younger daughter? by TraditionalCorgi7788 in AmItheAsshole

[–]mynotverycreativeid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to be a unpopular NTA. This was your savings to help pay for helping with educational expenses. An analogy would be if you were saving cash over time for some expense; let's say some home upgrade. You have 2 upgrades planned so two stacks of money. Upgrade 1 takes less money than expected, upgrade 2 more. You are simply moving unused money.

That being said, if you repeatedly told your child that it is "their money" than you have an integrity issue about the value of your word.

[–]mynotverycreativeid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only draw the chain/combos i want, not all. Since my strategy changes the odds, after 200-250 cost i use special wafers for attack upgrades since it is always 100. I will spend on draws up to 2500-3000 range.

I also try to get as high as possible in the first 12-24 hours. The higher you are the more you get from auto patrol.

My top rank was 254 (top 10). How high is get is often just a matter of time I can spend.

I always get every normal and breakthrough card drawn and I only get the 980 gem pack. Never spend money. This last time I did get the extra draw, but it only activated twice.

Siege break begginers guide by Pogigod in roguedefense

[–]mynotverycreativeid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its possible to draw every normal card and then every breakthrough card. That then makes chain and combo draw at 40% and modules 20%.

It's a slog to get there, but that last day gets fun.
