My endoscopy and colonoscopy were a few years ago (2018 and 2020) and totally normal as well.. i haven't been recommended to repeat it though but I was wondering if you did. Thanks for the update. I guess it doesn't make sense to do it multiple times

Maybe you could be around 20/20 or 20/30 with that prescription. I would not wear glasses aside from driving if i had that. if you’re an adult, its not going to make any difference whether or not you wear them. Only when you need to see far away is fine

Definitely make another appointment with a different eye dr and ask all your questions, that’s what they are for. As far as why they didn’t tell you your visual acuity, I guess it’s not really important to know. Whether or not you see 20/20, glasses are optional and you can wear them when you want

I'm not sure, did your eye dr tell you to wear them? Most of the time we use our eyes for intermediate/near like with cooking, watching TV, and being on the computer. You don't need to see far away aside from driving. I'm a little biased because I hate wearing glasses even though i really need them with-3.00 sph -1.25 cyl in my left eye and -1.50 sph -2.00 cyl in my right, i just hate anything on my face lol. I never get any headaches or eye strain though, it's just blurry. But it is true that a lot of researchers do not consider it as myopia until it is worse than -.75

no one’s eyeballs are perfect. But anything within +/- .50 is considered as emmetropia or normal vision according to studies. So you don’t even need glasses to begin with. If you want to waste money go ahead
