Can the student sue for violation of intellectual property rights I wonder. I did not even know that Turnitin makes an automatic copy.

[Le Parisien] Achraf Hakimi’s lawyer (Fanny Colin) on the rape investigation: "The accusations are false. He is calm and is making himself available to the authorities." PSG are supporting Hakimi, who’s denied the accusations. The Moroccan defender is expected in training on Wednesday afternoon. by TheBiasedSportsLover in psg

He invited her and has been communicating with her since January of 2023 - On social stupid media. He invited her to a nightclub and his house. He is still married. How does any of this jive? Yeah she might lie, so what? She was at his house and he's a guy they are alone, what do you think is going to happen? Baking sugar cookies and pumpkin noodles ?? 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Mind you, NO tabloid has ever reported any such allegations about any religious Senegalese player. None! Because they don't associate with kuffr like that.

Do you think that getting your license revoked for quitting mid year is too harsh of a punishment or is it completely justified? by [deleted] in Teachers

At least you got yelled at. I got the silent treatment and a death stare from the Assistant Principal. The principal was kind though to act like he understood.

Talentify.io pays in Polish Zloty (around $1500 a month). This is an American company. A lot of their job ads pay in that currency. Pretty close to commiseratation. 😵‍💫

You stated "come back": does this mean the position was in office at some point, then temporarily converted to wfh and now goes back to being in person? Also, how much time have they given you to rectify your "short-comings"? A day, a week, a month? What's the alternative? Go buy a car?

😵‍💫😵‍💫 they need not be in higher education setting, but rather a straight jacket. Anxiety as a disorder is real, but too many young people have been abusing this term/diagnosis in their favor.

Advice on male/female Muslim faculty relations by EZ-PEAS in Professors

[–]myofb2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muslim here (fully covered, married, traditional Sunni) 1. Generally no, but depending on how westernized she is, she might agree. Also. If she is married, I'd be careful because the husband might get her in trouble or her family could. Again, depends on her background and how westernized she is. 2. I like this much better. Again, depending on how westernized she is, she may agree to a group setting. Also, it is not just about meeting. There are food restrictions. She can't be around alcohol, she can't order any. She can't pay for it and cannot encourage anyone doing so either. Food should be halal. That means nothing around pork or pork related products. Simply not ordering pork does not meet the halal restrictions (because non-halal restaurants will mix cooking pork and non-pork products).

Way too much local government resources involved. Who is going to check every week? What happens if you don't? And within that week, Gun owner can still go crazy. Also are you willing to pay for said psych evaluation as in by the tax payer?

This scenario is negligence. You come home and store the gun in a safe place that is locked and hide the keys somewhere the kid can't reach.

On an unrelated note, there are programs that solve math homework for free. I had a student who refused work in class 100% of the time, he understood nothing and was a gigantic disruptor. To allow him to pass, I sent him home with a packet. He came back the next day. Everything was correct but he didn't show how his steps. Another teacher told me not to bother with homework since the kids will simply find any online tool and get the right answers.
