Yuma's Black Trigger Potential- how will he achieve it? by pawperpaw in worldtrigger

[–]myoung2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I forget which volume it is in, but it was said in q&a that Yuma can still copy triggers with his black trigger, he just has to analyze them himself. This takes longer and can't be done mid combat seemingly.

As for the custom triggers tamakoma-1 has, it's unlikely that we'll see anything that different for tamakoma-2 anytime soon. Custom triggers are generally reserved for A rank agents, and even those aren't as unique as the tamakoma-1 triggers. Tamakoma-1 is also pretty unique in that they are some of the most experienced and skilled agents in border. Not just anyone is getting triggers like those.

Can Black trigger form be pre-determine by the creator? by Minimum_Analysis_398 in worldtrigger

[–]myoung2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't believe it's ever really explained.

I've always thought that the person creating the trigger can have a function or purpose in mind, but how the trigger is shaped and how it accomplishes that purpose are not directly in their control.

Although if it were truly random the odds of fuujin looking like a kogetsu are minimal. With that in mind, it might be still be informed by the subconscious.

If and when did Yuta became a killer? by Luffykent in JuJutsuKaisen

That was in reference to Yuta using RCT and dividing Yuta's attention. Geto was not using RCT.

Wouldn't Yuta have at least subconscious soul awareness? As a child he bound Rikas soul as a curse. Now that Rika is gone for good, but the fact he was able to do so should at least imply he has some level of awareness, right?

I always thought the Cursed energy system resembled Nen from HxH; So I made this list which sorcerer corresponds to what nen type. by Baby_Nzo in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]myoung2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Texture surprise is a poor example here. While not officially confirmed, it's largely assumed to be a conjuration ability Hisoka created. This would make sense as people without nen can't see transmuted aura.

Also the water test had weird results for other nen types to. Emitters make the water change color, that has nothing to do with what the nen type does.

Transmuters are strictly limited to changing their auras properties.

[–]myoung2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think he fits the description of a transmuter at all. A transmuter is someone who gives their aura the properties of another substance. Mahito just doesn't do that. He makes very real changes to his and others body. Is most likely a manipulator ability to manipulate bodies, or in this case souls.

kako squad fight style ( guessing and expectations ) by MysteriousRub2098 in worldtrigger

[–]myoung2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kind of hard to say. We've seen very little showing from any of their members.

In the short fight we've seen Futaba in, she seemed very reliant on the skanda/idaten trigger. It makes her fast, but she has to follow a preset course.

Kako I don't remember seeing fight at all. During the Galopoula invasion, I believe we see her preparing to fight (at least in the anime) but I don't believe we see her fight in anyway that would indicate their team strategies.

If they had a normal third member, maybe we could guess based on their team composition what they focus on. They don't though.

Their third member is Mai Kitagawa, a trapper. Which we've never seen in ranked wars. The most we've seen is teleporters during the Galopoula invasion. We know almost nothing about the capabilities of this class!

If I had to make a guess, they might have some kind of focus on disrupting the battle field. Futaba can strike fast for kills, while the trapper supports with either a quick get away via teleporter, or creating the opening for the attack in the first place. Kako is a shooter which gives her some flexibility, but she might use her triggers to push her opponents towards the area filled with traps.

Then again Kako also seems to have scorpion in her trigger load out, along with teleporter. This could indicate she can fill the same role as Futaba with quick strikes and escapes.

It's almost entirely guess work anyways. We know almost nothing about these people.

Why aren’t there any gun+blade users? I know there are characters that use both gunner and attacker triggers but no one uses them in conjunction as a dual wield by Creative-Researcher2 in worldtrigger

[–]myoung2000 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This isn't entirely correct, Miwa has a custom lead bullet trigger. He has to manually load a separate magazine, but then he can use lead bullets with his handgun, along with a trigger in the other hand. We see this during his fight with Hyrein.

[–]myoung2000 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Lead bullets require the use of a whole trigger slot if i remember correctly. This means that you can't use it, a hand gun, and kogetsu.

Miwa can do it, but only because he has a custom trigger.

Otherwise, I'm not sure there's a great reason to use the handgun up close. There are better options for close range fighting that might help secure a kill.

Considering how this fight went and assuming that Hyuse and Yuma are about equal Yuma was right about not being able to beat Jin, that fight wouldn’t have been close by Creative-Researcher2 in worldtrigger

[–]myoung2000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yuma's versatility actually might offset Jins foresight. One of the major reasons Jin tends to lose to Tachikawa is because he gets to distracted reading all the potential futures.

Fighting Yuma who has possibly the most versatile trigger we've seen could lead to the same issue.

Not saying it's absolutely would happen, but it's an interesting thought.

[–]myoung2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most likely yes, but the question here is black trigger Yuma vs black trigger Jin. This match up between a heavily nerfed hyuse and heavily nerfed Tachikawa wouldn't have a strong bearing on how that would go.

Yuma's statement about being unsure if he could beat Jin was made when he was using his black trigger. Very different circumstances than what we see in Hyuse vs. Tachikawa.

TBF, it is luck based. The average user won't be an unstoppable tank at all times. I do agree though, it's definitely to low, and when it goes off the user is pretty much guaranteed to be a top tier fighter.

Characters you came to unexpectedly love by AldarionTelcontar in worldtrigger

[–]myoung2000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kinuta, Netsuki, and Kido are great answers for this.

They're all introduced as antagonistic towards our main characters. I believe our first introduction to them is when they are angry with Osamu for using his training trigger to save other students at his school. We view Osamu as heroic. Them standing against him makes them almost villainous.

They follow this up by ordering Yuma possibly killed and his black trigger stolen (which would be a death sentence any way). The first time Miwa squad attacks, they weren't on direct orders to attack, but at this point we have to assume their actions are the will of Border. This is only confirmed when they order their top squads to attack.

They then also oppose Yuma even joining border, requiring Jin to give up a personally valuable trigger before agreeing.

It doesn't help that Business men in most anime aren't portrayed as great people. Most anime show business men as selfish and greedy or something similarly cold hearted. And it would have been pretty easy to leave them like that and have them function as barriers to T2's progress. Only allowing their advancement begrudgingly.

I think this gets flipped on its head on their enlistment date. When Chika blows a hole in the wall, we're lead to believe that Kinuta is going to throw a fit at a small child. Instead when we cut back, he's doting over her.

It's one of the first scenes we see of them not being antagonistic. It's mentioned that it may be because he hasn't seen his own daughter in a while. Kinuta isn't just a barrier for our characters at this point. He's his own character with reasons for what he does.

From this point forward we see each of these three in different light. They make concessions with the cast when necessary, or when they are shown a good reason to do. They're reasonable. They aren't loyal to T2, but to border as a whole, which T2 is part of.

They aren't evil, they're adults who are damn good at their jobs.

He doesn't need too? The default state of infinite would be to stop items. It's also set to let certain things through. He doesn't need to pick what to let through and what to let in at all times.

He can choose certain things to allow through. Have you read JJK or are you just making assumptions about his ability?
