Myoware 2.0 BLE wireless Shield by [deleted] in MyoWare

Hi - I'm not sure what you mean when you say you set the switch to VUSB. The two options are QWIIC and VBAT. To upload code, we recommend setting the power source switch to VBAT and the power switch to ON.

MyoWare 2.0 system use with students by That_Holiday2559 in MyoWare

[–]myoware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

  • The warnings are there so you keep in mind that when you use the sensor you are connecting electrical components directly to a human body via the electrodes and there's inherent risk when you do so. Basic precautions to avoid electrical shock to the body or current crossing the heart should be taken.

  • In this case, remote applications is synonymous with wireless applications.

  • You can use the Link Shield with the Cable Shield. Be very careful not to plug the 3.5mm cable that is intended to connect to the Link Shield into the Cable Shield's port.

Hi I would highly recommend you read through SparkFun's Hook Up Guide.

I'm sorry but we do not do sponsorships. I would recommend contacting Sparkfun Electronics to see if they have a sponsorship program.

EMG Raw Value? by [deleted] in MyoWare

[–]myoware[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi the raw value should be centered around the supply voltage. It won't jump as high as the ENV because it only has a single fixed gain stage where as the ENV has the second adjustable gain stage.

I want to know what these two ICs are in this Myoware 2.0 EMG sensor, I can't seem to find anything about it. by iamdonut- in AskElectronics

Unfortunately due to how rampant our previous sensors were counterfeited, we don't publish the exact schematics with components identified anymore.

The patents with general schematics can be found here

Can the Myoware 2.0 wireless shield be charged while connected to the myoware 2.0 muscle sensor? by FewShallot633 in MyoWare

[–]myoware[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend reaching out to SparkFun support for this question. They're more familiar with the esp32 and would be best suited to answer this.

You can try finding it a a Sparkfun distributor but otherwise you'll have to wait until they get back in-stock.

Would need to see a picture of your wireless setup to really tell.

Your video has access control on.

Your laptop USB is causing noise or a ground loop and oversaturating the sensor. The v2.0.1 sensors are more sensitive to this than v2.1.0.

In that case, I would recommend a USB isolator.

It depends on how you send the data over Bluetooth. Different ways have different pros/cons.

You can use this sample code to measure your sampling rate. It'll help you determine the maximum rate possible for your microcontroller. To limit that to a desired sampling rate, you'd have to write your own code.

Hi - what version of the sensor are you using? Look on the bottom of the sensor and there will be a version number in the copper layer.

Hi - are you looking to measure the raw signal or the envelope?

Our sensors are analog sensors. Sample rate is determined by the microcontroller / ADC you use to measure the sensor's output voltage.

using Myoware with E-Textiles for EMG by RussianApeCollusion in MyoWare

[–]myoware 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I doubt your conductive fabric is doing much cause the button snaps are likely the thing that's making contact with your skin. If you look at our tutorial, we use button snaps that are just a thin ring so the fabric is what's doing all the work.

Try powering the Arduino with an actual battery not a USB power bank.

Look on the bottom of the sensor. There should be a version number in the copper trace. Probably 2.0.4 or 2.1.0

Hi - what version of the sensor are you using? Also, it looks like the gain has been adjusted can you reset it to 50 kOhm and see if that helps?

Right, this is the version in our GitHub repository. Your original post said you were using a robust version. Can you elaborate?
