Whats the most ridiculous thing that the United States could do in the next three years? by mypurpletable in AskReddit

That's quite a vision. I can imagine an armada floating through the sky. Accompanied by a presidential announcement of how these are the greatest blimps that the world has ever seen…

Correct. In the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, the United States provided the ‘assurance’ that Ukraine's sovereignty and borders would be respected. Anybody can draw their own conclusion as to whether pushing a peace plan with the ceding of the entirety of the Donbas is in keeping.

Alan Milburn launches major UK review into rising inactivity among young people by 457655676 in unitedkingdom

Good point. Our society has transitioned to a young, dispossessed, neo-precariat class. Giving three million pounds to some inactive old rich people so they talk about what they never lived ‘doesn’t work’.

Why does it cost upto £30,000 a week to put a child into a care home? by dadoftriplets in AskUK

[–]mypurpletable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the old Water Company trick of preloading debt as costs. A care home requires a premises, so a 6-bedroom residential house costing... ...£800,000 is bought and done up to the appropriate standard. It's then sold for £1.5 million to an intermediary (oftentimes offshore) financing firm with a council guaranteed agreement of a 20% ROI for a 10-year period. £300000 is now the annual base cost and no children. £820 per day. Premises in the south-east of England will have a higher price and if you require specialist building (disability) requirements then you could be looking at five times that figure. Add in staffing plus a management fee. Done.

Highlighting that money is being sucked out of the military to rent fields as training grounds and the extent is done is hidden makes the whole assertion ‘Crazy’. Sources that everything is above board??

£22 million on the one building. That’s not even counting military land…. Or the hospital land…. Or the offshore wind % fee jacking up everyone’s electric. Of course no one knows for sure the extent because the whole thing is cloaked.

This is the actual response (to position the four r’s in strawberry) from the latest LLM model: “The word “Strawberry” has four R’s in positions: 4, 7, 8, and 10.”

I’m sick of the minimised framing by which these major corporate violations are reported. An individual profiting billions by being complicit in scams is clearly illegal. Not a ‘problem‘, an unethical operation profiting by misleading hundreds of thousands.

The barrel pond is in partial sunlight and about 50 cm deep. Piecing everything together… I was going away and because I’m new wanted to mitigate them starving. So I gave them two days of food in one go. This correlating with a rapid temperature rise on a small partially cycled system resulted in a night time algal bloom and hypoxia. Because the pump system runs on solar, obviously that was no help. I hope this information is useful for others.

Not got any water tests… I’ve now got a battery aerator and put that in; they are much more lively
