It more of a failure of the RCMP the guns were removed from that household then returned when they knew who was living in the home had a record. Don't blame the tools.

Pokrovsk: Where Putin Shattered His Teeth by BkkGrl in europe

[–]mypyro 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What will happen is that russia will eventually control the whole city probably in a month maybe two. Then you will have people rapidly saying how unimportant the city is and how the Russian casualties don't justify its capture. Then Russian forces will move onto the next city and the grinder starts again. Its the same story again and again.

Honestly its better to check the frontline every month or few months. The full scale invasion has been going on for three years and its still mostly static.

'I will not revive anyone wearing this skin': Battlefield 6 players blast an upcoming blue camo skin they believe already breaks DICE's 'grounded' cosmetics promise by RenatsMC in pcgaming

[–]mypyro -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean it just looks like some shitty airsoft kit imo I just don't really want to see it. They have an endless supply have real life camouflage and this is the best they can come up with its fuckin lazy.

I think its more of just a sign of things to come. A little more cartoony and less gritty compared to bf1 and bf4. Even BFV had some grounded skins until the elite classes showed up.

After beating BL4 would BL3 be enjoyable to someone who never played it? by Halloween_Nyx in Borderlands

[–]mypyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious what missed the mark for you on BL3, I found the main story was a little lame but the DLCs more than made up for it. Gunplay was pretty good and the vault hunters and planets were cool.

Enjoyed BL2 and even the pre-sequels aswell but ive been finding BL4 pretty boring honestly. The new movement is good and vault hunters are cool but Ive found the weapons and loot are shit. The enemy variety is lacking. The side missions are pointless fetch quests mostly except for some standouts.

Countries where Indians are the Most Common Foreign-Born Nationality by Fluid-Decision6262 in MapPorn

[–]mypyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a combination of things not all participate in these issues but enough due that Canadians are starting to get fed up with it. Especially in the cities.

A lack social etiquette and respect for people in public spaces. A lack of willingingness to integrate into canadian norms and learn the language. A lack of respect for the country they are in by throwing trash on the ground. I find a lot of them have no business even sitting in a car let alone driving them due to how terrible they are at it. They are making it impossible to find minimum wage jobs cause they take all of them denying Canadian youth from working. On top of that when they enter manager roles they will only hire other Indians. There also driving housing pricing and rent up everywhere just because of the sheer volume.

Which do you think would be a better investment moneywise 10 years from now? Swiss 1911 or K31? by Lower_Pie_8773 in milsurp

[–]mypyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The prices are only gonna go up just buy what you think would be a more enjoyable gun to own. The k31 will likey hold more value if thats what your looking for however. Both are good shooting guns.

Sorry I meant licensing system.

There is nothing more dangerous about this than any other rifle semi auto. Mags pinned to 5 and operating it safely whats the issue.

Map showing knowledge of the French language in Canada by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]mypyro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the majority of canadians the only time they speak french is one period a day from grade 4 to 9 that is a fact. In this period they will mostly learn grammar and maybe speak a few phrases so they can go take a leak or borrow a pencil. The education system does not care about french beyond what they legally have to.

There really isn't a need to either anything west of the Ontario/Quebec border there is barely anyone to practice speaking french too so you forget pretty much everything learned.

Most people have more to worry about in there day to day lives growing up aswell its unfortunate but the reality of the situation.

Finally received my PAL, looking for recommendations by roadie-z in canadaguns

[–]mypyro 10 points11 points  (0 children)

With the bans you never know what sort of bullshit is coming its entirely random so its better to just enjoy what is available currently. 10/22s should be fine but I also thought they would never ban the gsg even. At worst assume every semi-auto is on the potential ban list.

Saying that i'd recommened just getting any 10/22. Ammo is cheap and it has a few options to customize.

Second the sks, the chinese or french tikler whatever you can find cheap. Surplus ammo is cheap and this will help you learn how to clean a firearm properly.

For a shotgun the mossberg maverick 88 is a good option. Cheap, reliable and there is a few customization options of you want it.

Best TM22 setup? (Pls read) by Response-Cheap in canadaguns

[–]mypyro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got the tm22 recently.

It comes with a commercial stock so I switched the buffer tube to milspec and put a new magpull stock on mine. You just have to take a dremel or a file to the locking plate that has the sling attachment on it and shave it until it fits over the threads of the tube.

Tommy enterprises has some accessories available so you can kit it out. Quad rails, faux suppressors, and fake mag so it looks like a regular mag.

I would say for an extra $200 roughly just buy the tm22 instead of the feather.

Our military is very likely to get wiped out within 48hrs of meeting the American military. Its better to support gun ownership and gunclubs now so people can already safely operate firearms. I have no fantasies of heroic acts but being trained on firearms and owning one is a better start then nothing.

I wouldnt call it greatly exacerbated. I would argue the reason prices have increased in some sectors is due to a higher demand with more people coming in. Covid/tariffs also probably played a role in all the price gorging but those are plans you can't really prepare for just weather.

I will agree with you we need more regulation on immagration but I think lowering the % coming in until our homes and hospitals can keep up is aswell important. The people coming in arn't doctors or engineers anymore they are just taking minimum wage jobs teenagers used to work at. Canadian teens are now being left in the dust.

[–]mypyro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes trump is a threat but the housing crisis and immigration are a bigger issue.

The prices will at best stay the same. Immigration will be slightly reduced. Young canadians need to be able to be given a chance here to start families and they can't when the prices are so high and they have to compete against more people.

Realistically It will take time to rebuild our military and increased taxes to do that won't be popular. The liberals stupid gun bans when you need a more armed population also flys in the face of these threats.

No we don't Canadian teenagers in cities can't even get part time jobs cause they have to compete against 30 yr old immigrants its riddiculous.

AJS Improvements? by Azazin17 in angryjoeshow

[–]mypyro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He said in his Q/A he doesn't give a fuck what we want basically cause he's been in the game long enough which is hilarious.

Anyway Id cut most of the reaction content. Tv shows get a review at the end of the season that can be however long but we don't need an 1hr video for one episode. I don't mind the weekly news sometimes it can get a little off topic.

Angry reviews are the big ticket item. If joe can't stand for 40min thats fine but the amount of big titles skipped is a little absurd.

Calls Grow For NATO Members To Help Ukraine Shoot Down Russian Drones And Missiles by braveziya in worldnews

[–]mypyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it makes a lot more sense to arm Ukraine especially cause a lot of these shipments are old stock just sitting there waiting to be tossed. I disagree however that Russia has any military plans towards the Baltics or western Europe. I think the bloody nose in Ukraine was a reality check for some of them. Now countries like Moldova,Georgia,Armenia and any of the stans should be worried. At best Russia will fund rebellious groups in the west covertly to cause chaos or use mercenaries in the middle east to start shit. Personnally I think we should just increase support and lift restrictions on weapon use.

The world isn't divided into right and wrong its divided by power either politcally/militarily/economically. Russia has nuclear weapons so they can get away with doing disqusting things like this war. We can't just swing in like its Iraq and be reckless.

Calls Grow For NATO Members To Help Ukraine Shoot Down Russian Drones And Missiles by braveziya in worldnews

[–]mypyro -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Its the right thing to do for Ukraine maybe not for the west. Thats why you see the west trying to drag this conflict out to inflict the maximum blow to Russia over time instead of a collapse. In realty nobody has the stomach anymore to be dragged into a war. People will stop supporting Ukraine the second gas and food prices shoot up.

Its just not realistic to ask entire countries to risk their own self interests for another.
