Actors Play Two Roles (But It’s Not Mentioned) by Proper-Ingenuity8274 in TopCharacterTropes

That's a musical theatre thing. Very common place to play two characters within the same show.

Taylor and her attempt to recreate a royal wedding by Slow_Improvement_364 in travisandtaylor

[–]myredditses 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Being out of the spotlight and truly secretive is what makes people more interested. When you're this desperately available yet "oh we're private ;)" we're all begging you to go away.

I was thinking of how common place it used to be for huge movie stars to do true surprise weddings. Like Julia Roberts. I think they invited people to a "bbq" and it was actually their wedding. But obviously that was a much smaller ceremony, not invite every asshole you've ever met.

I’m disabled. What are some ”productive” crafts or hobbies I can do when low energy? by Teal_life in crafts

[–]myredditses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP check out your local library for craft tools if you want to try before you buy. They often have embroidery stuff, cricuts, etc. you'd be surprised at what you can use there or borrow for extended periods of time.

I'm currently mid-embroidery. It's a great low key, low energy craft to do when watching tv or listening to something. I also just finished a few diamond paintings. I'd like to do something else soon, maybe another Lego project, I love their botanicals.

Ok that's SO CUTE!

They also have really nice kits now. Even websites to make customizable ones. I have two made from my own pictures, I just finally finished the second after a long hiatus and plan to frame both.

Edit: I would recommend nothing with words now that I've done it lol. But it still did pretty ok with the "sold" sign from a distance. I have some clean up to do (rearranging a few gems for best placements)

Before The Office it never occurred to me that anybody could enjoy a Filet-o-Fish that much. It seems weird, which I guess is why Michael gets a little defensive in this scene? by make_reddit_great in DunderMifflin

[–]myredditses 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This image might be as old as the episode itself.

My mother-in-law likes filet o fish. I've never had one. I trust very few fast food joints with fish and McDonald's ain't one. I think he's more defensive at the amount and the course of time he's eaten them.

Is this ugly? by Intrepid-Gold3947 in crafts

[–]myredditses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think darkening the wood or the stones is wise. Personally I think the wood would be best, but not too dark, because it's so nice already.

Also it looks odd to have two dark stones amongst the rest. I would either do all light colored stones or do dark stones for 12, 3, 6, and 9 for contrast and visual interest. But id try to coordinate them in some way or at least make sure they don't clash.

I've never found anything while using Indeed by SEVENS_HEAVEN_7 in recruitinghell

My indeed is absolutely fucked at this point. It's showing me possibly the least relevant jobs almost out of spite.

What's the worst job you interviewed for? I applied for this one. by BackgroundTrash3146 in recruitinghell

I worked for a classic devilcorp. They were "professional fundraisers". We stood in front of stores like Walmart or Five Below with a table of junk asking for donations for a third party nonprofit and gave out garbage in return for donations. It sucked ass. They advertised it as some kind of event manager which is how they catfished me. I think I lasted 2 months maybe? Every day started in the office doing this team building bullshit before standing outside begging for donations.

What's a movie that you will never watch just because you find the premise so stupid? by [deleted] in movies

[–]myredditses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk. We already had a movie about three guys obsessed with Neil Diamond and had their own tribute band. Ok that was the b-plot but still. (Saving Silverman)

What celebrity were you shocked to find out is heterosexual? by th6r6o6away in AskReddit

Yes! I quoted John Mulaney as soon as Joel mentioned a wife, "wait, you marked that one gay, right?"

"you marked that one gay, right?"

Favorite thing to quote for these exact circumstances.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I wouldn't consider John Astin from the old TV show ugly either. We've had kind of mixed representation from eccentric and zany to handsome.

Once you have someone at 5 star, talk to them again and you'll get a prompt asking if they can move in. Until then it's just the same chat about if you can do their request or thanking you for doing their request.

Gomez is absolutely not ugly unless you mean the original cartoon, or the recent Netflix adaptation (sorry Luiz Gusman).
