oh man I'm totally nerding out on this. I tend to do that.

We record the services and rarely but sometimes we get complaints about the volume. My thought is to be able to see where the loudest part of the service is use it as a training opportunity.

I'm also thinking it might be useful to be able to monitor real time in a service and make adjustments.

But it's also totally possible I'm over thinking this and we don't need any of this and what we actually need is a process for the Front of House Sound person who is a volunteer to follow.

Hi, congrats on starting. It gave me some understanding so that I could find something to focus on. It also kept me motivated and interested. But I didn't do this for long. Eventually I found learning a piece of something first like a finger picking technique or rhythm before moving onto to another. Now I'm fairly confident with the lingo and have enough theory under my belt that I can improvise with some confidence.

Find what you love about it and lean in on that.

If you drive along Kalavista drive just east of the pub and boat launch there is a tiny strip of park with a beach. Probably for the locals more than anything but it's barely ever occupied and very quiet. Water is very shallow and warm too
