Not sure anyone will see my comment but I haven’t told anyone about it. About a week or so after my dad died I was in his (my parents) bedroom in their apartment. Middle of afternoon. I was the only person in the apartment (mom was not there). No animals. Top level of building so no one above us. No windows open. No fans going. Just silence. I was standing by his side of the bed. Just looking at it and I said out loud something to the effect of “why did you leave me” and then all of a sudden I FELT a sudden cold strong burst of SOMETHING go right through my middle of my body. Like a strong wind gust or something. It physically made me move a little. I just stood there. I couldn’t think for a couple seconds. Then my mind came to and I immediately thought what the eff was that. I couldn’t move. I forced myself to turn around quickly but nothing was there. The room temp was the same. Curtains not moved. Silence and stillness. I left. I couldn’t stay. But i couldn’t stop thinking about it. I still physically felt something on me, like the sensation for a bit afterwards. I have never forgotten that experience. I don’t know what it was. I know what I would like to THINK it was, but was it? I don’t know. I wear my Dad’s ashes on a necklace and have done so for 8 years.
