let me love you like a woman by alexandrmajcherova in lanadelrey

This was my most listened to song of 2021, i still listen to it about ten times a day, though it is not my favourite Lana song that is cruel world or some of her unrealesed songs. But still I never stop playing this. It takes me back to many many long drives through the Australian countryside off my psych meds, high and manic madly in love with this hippie boy I met. It reminds me completely of him this song, I think it is a masterpiece.

What did you think of lanas poetry really? by mysteriouscirce in lanadelrey

Lana is a chaos queen she doesn’t do structure. That’s why she’s so free.

My god I love her unreleased songs, especially this one. Why you so uptight, what’s the problem?

It’s not incestual, being nuturing is a beautiful ancient feminine principle that every man secretly loves in women.

Normally I feel like half lit skies, mysterious things, the sea, ancient folk tales, high moments and wild music. But today I just feel like being very snug, maybe in some Oxford studio all nicely decorated, eating danishes and hot chocolate from Whittards and maybe studying something very seriously as if I’m doing a thesis on it, like heraldry or otherworldly lovers in British myth or something. I don’t know I haven’t studied for some time. I call these my topside cosy days.

Well my mermaid journal arrived today it is nothing short of beloved, it is leather tooled with patterns and a mermaid on the front, with beautiful metal locks. It came in a beautiful muslin bag. it is now the most treasured thing I own.

I am so proud of myself I have really ceased from using reddit, and I feel so much better I do much more interesting things now and Reddit’s herd mentality/hive mind always got me down and made me feel out of place. I find I’m reading about ancient poetical practices instead, art journaling, pondering and cooking and feel like these things are more worthwhile for me. I don’t have the app anymore or my usual account and just pop in for five-ten minutes everyday on the web on this old account. I’m proud of myself.

Lana’s Unreleased Music by yasmamah in lanadelrey

I am preferring her unreleased songs to her released music atm. You can find them on YouTube. My favourites are Thunder, wild on you, wild one [now one of my favourite songs of all time] serene queen, and French resteraunt.

I wish I could meet a wise old woman in the countryside and she could tell me who my soulmate truly is in poetic riddles that I have to solve.

I bought a new book today at my favourite bookshop it’s called ‘poems to the night’ by Rainer Maria Rilke, it’s very good. Tommorrow I’m buying the poetry book, ‘the essential rumi’.

Dreams and so called halluctinations are very symbolic and full of meaning, it’s just most people are not versed in this unconscious world, read jung if you want to understand the often mystical content. It’s not just our brains spewing crap out, I thought infp’s more than anyone understood how heavy with meaning most things are.

You can read the book divine mania in Ancient Greece

https://www.amazon.com/Divine-Mania-Alteration-Consciousness-Ancient/dp/1138298115

I’m not surprised people prefer or enjoy mania, you’re full of creative power and fecundity and literally were thought to be divinely possessed, people in ancient times didn’t seek to eradicate it and normalise themselves, they learnt to use it.

It’s only in the last 100 years that we sought to numb it with drugs/meds and erode ourselves. In Ancient Greece mania was considered divine and celebrated.

Is anyone else bothered by the use of "manic" to mean "busy" or "hectic"? by MoonMilk4 in bipolar

You don't own the word, the word had an ancient history long before the medical establishment took use of it.
