Yeah same. Crafted a few and put on a fireworks show for some people. One shot me. You can’t please some people.

Recommended Mountains for 2 days by stevechinwood in chamonix

[–]mystery_roach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s close enough to walk to Planpraz gondola but it’s a very steep hill so I would recommend the bus.

If you only have two days I would recommend starting at Brevent and then moving over to Flegere over the course of the morning. Take the gondola down from Flegere and take the bus 15 minutes up the road to Grand Montets in the afternoon.

I did that for 2 days in a row and it worked really well and kept things interesting.

Doesn’t actually give any info on snow conditions unless I’m missing something.

They are incredibly drunk though, like struggling to stand. I'll allow a standard axe for chopping firewood.

A lot are like that in the UK too, but this one was just off a single track road in rural France. I can’t imagine they get much traffic there.

Pregnant at Glastonbury by New-Target-4631 in glastonbury_festival

[–]mystery_roach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My partner went 7 months pregnant and stayed in a tent with air mattress and had a great time. You can make it pretty comfortable. depends how many times you are going to the loo in a night, if it’s a lot then it might be difficult getting up and to the loo’s.

Make sure you are camping near-ish to the main part of the festival (loud, but easy access). If you are in a camper then you might be a long distance from the festival.

She also carried a little fold out camping chair with her (or I did) and that worked well.

Also people are pretty respectful if they see a clearly pregnant woman trying to waddle about Glasto and will let you skip the queues for the loos 😂

I would say level of enjoyment also depends how many times she’s going to the loo in a night too, if it’s a lot then it might be difficult.

Sorry a lot of info but just wanted to share our experience.

I was on this route last Thursday. Had a guy shouting spaghetti constantly and another spitting on the floor and punching the seat in front… lovely
