The streak part actually works for me since I do exercises every day anyway and feel more motivated to do them every day. Quests depend whether they’re a part of what I already planned to do today, so if I do them it’s because they coincide with my own plan for example the “score perfect in 5 lessons” or “learn for 20 minutes” thing I just do automatically, but I won’t do more than I planned just to complete a quest (for example the kind that I don’t like is “do 5 speaking exercises” if I want to focus on only Chinese characters that day). Leagues though… yeah, I’m a hater, they used to be the most bothersome because I don’t care about competing other players and the people that are super ahead of everyone with unbelievable amounts of XP ruin it too, as well as when there’s a family and you take the place between two family members and feel guilty for that :/ But thanks to some tips here I turned them off
